Medical Devices - Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Cambridge
Due to successful growth plans, a Medical Devices organization based in Cambridge is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development and improvement of life-saving Medical Devices.
Collaborating closely with other industry experts, such as electronics design engineers, software engineers, physicists, and other Medical Devices specialists, you will tackle some of the most complex challenges in the development of new Medical Technologies.
Ideally, you will have a background in developing new Medical Devices throughout the entire design life cycle, adhering to ISO 13485 standards.
If you have not worked on Medical Devices, we will consider candidates from other highly regulated industries such as life sciences, robotics, product development, etc.
For the 3D CAD elements of your role, you will primarily use SolidWorks.
Familiarity with this tool would be advantageous, but we are open to considering other 3D CAD tools if you have a proven track record of quickly acquiring new skills.
When discussing complex problems, it would be beneficial if the Medical Devices you have worked on have involved fluidics, mechanism design, thermal issues, FEA, or other intricate applications.
We do not expect you to have experience in all of these areas; they are just a few examples of the challenges you may encounter.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team, responsible for delivering day-to-day electrical maintenance, inspection, testing and repairs across the pipeline system.

Proven experience in petrochemical, Oil and gas or process industry environments, with strong knowledge of permit systems, site safety rules, and ability to interpret technical drawings.
Effective communicator able to work collaboratively across teams while managing workload independently.
Proactive approach with strong ownership, high safety standards, and good IT skills; physically fit with a clean driving licence.
Desirable: additional compex modules (EX01-04), CCNSG, HV Authorised Person, ATG or Rotork experience, COMAH awareness, confined space and first aid training, plus basic mechanical skills.

Role Details:
Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Leicester
Salary: £45,396 per year (approx.
£19.40/hr)
Hours: 45 hours/week (shift pattern including late and early shifts; overtime paid at 1.5x, shift allowance on lates)
What You'll Be Doing as a HGV Technician:
Perform servicing, maintenance, and inspections on a variety of trucks and trailers.
Diagnose and repair faults across multiple vehicle makes, both franchised and non-franchised.
Use manufacturer-specific diagnostic systems and tools to identify and rectify issues.
Accurately complete job cards, service records, and other documentation in line with warranty requirements.
About You:
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (time-served candidates with strong experience will also be considered).
HGV licence is desirable but not essential.
