Strong communicator with top-notch presentation skills who can develop and provide training to production personnel on matters concerning formulation, materials handling, processing, and quality procedures. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Leadership role in effort to recertify and reclaim Non-Conforming material.
Works in coordination with QC and R&D to isolate, test and recertify Non-Conforming material that can be repackaged and sold. Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality. Continuously challenging the status quo understood as a day-to-day activity in our operating areas. Proactive problem solving based on statistical analysis of corrective actions / assigned by Engineering Director, Plant Manufacturing Manager, QA, EHS projects. Input inventory transactions and monitor LN for accuracy. Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary. Secure and lock facility when applicable. Enforce all company policies and regulations. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure. Responsible for physical inventory, directs cycle counting, and full physical inventories when required. May be required to train and certify employees on proper use of forklifts. High School Diploma or equivalent, or 2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Job Title: Roofing Account Manager
Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Department: Rust-Oleum, Sales
Reports To: National Account Executive
Direct Reports/Manages others: No
Hybrid Schedule: Our hybrid work environment includes two (2) remote days/week.

Summary:
The primary result expected from the Roofing Account Manager will work with the Product Management Team and the Roofing National Account Executive to develop account strategies that promote and distribute our products while achieving targeted profitability goals.
The goal is to support the Roofing rep field sales team, allowing them to close more sales.
This is a dual hunter and gatherer role.
The person best suited for this role finds passion for supporting sales efforts and managing accounts in any way possible while having a proactive entrepreneurial spirit.
This is a dual sales and support role designed to generate pull-through business through Roofing distributors selling Rust-Oleum products while providing support for existing customers through proactive and persistent cold calling, emails, and communication(s).
Responsibilities:
Coordinate activities: Buying Group Shows Industry Conferences Innovation Days Tradeshows Maintain a direct line of communication with the Roofing field team and Roofing distributors, keeping them informed about Rust-Oleum's product line, new products introduced, and any new promotions. Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources. Follow up with existing sales purchases to identify and cultivate upselling opportunities. Profile strategic accounts by identifying key individuals, researching, and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle. Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate records and lead qualification information. Additional Responsibilities may be added as necessary. Communicate professionally with our customers, Distributors, Rust-Oleum sales representatives, National Account Executives, and corporate staff. Travel will be 10-20%
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ years of progressively responsible marketing, inside or outside sales, or business development-related sales experience (preferred).

Position Summary:
Assist with maintenance and service of company facilities while ensuring employees' safety.
Maintain facilities warehouse storage and shipping/receiving area.
Essential Functions:
Ship and receive all packaged goods and supplies. Collect, store and ship various hazardous waste. Assist with the construction and/or rehabilitation of all corporate facilities. Perform daily job assignments necessary for the safe and efficient operation of facilities. Operate a forklift truck.
Perform heavy lifting. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and immediately report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. Receives annual training in RCRA Hazardous Waste and Carboline's Contingency Plan and will adhere to this training while performing their job. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Must have a valid Driver's License HVAC
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to consistently lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand up for long periods of time.
Requires lifting, moving from side to side, reaching, bending, sitting, and good eye-hand coordination.
May have occasional exposure to chemicals.

Utilize initiative to keep projects on track. Coordinate work of others, anticipate, and resolve priority conflicts. Acquire and maintain technical expertise in coatings industry and its technologies. Communicate and verify technical information directly to various departments, suppliers or customers. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs- EH&S Statement / RCRA.
Requirements:
4-year Chemistry degree or equivalent experience of 10 years Chemistry experience. 5 Years in protective coating 10 years formulation
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
Personal protective equipment would be utilized.
Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA.

Prepare and distribute color chips or standards as needed per marketing and manufacturing.

Make batches with provided colorant formulae and corrections. Spray panels. Run color computer to provide colorant adds. Make color chips for Manufacturing and Marketing. Use and maintain Laboratory equipment and supplies for the Color Group.
Keep Color Lab area clean and orderly. Keep records and files of work and evaluate results. Perform limited formulation work and Quality Control Test. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and immediately report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Receives annual training in RCRA Hazardous Waste and Carboline's Contingency Plan and will adhere to this training while performing their job. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent must pass Color Blindness test 1-year college Math or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds approximately 10% of the time; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, and Acrylics.
Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA (respirator worn 20% of the time).
Able to operate, maintain, and repair equipment which includes handling, moving, and hand/eye coordination (approximately 35% of the time).
The equipment includes but is not limited to: airless pumps, blasting, welding, and power hand tools.
