Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (On call rota)
A leading care provider has exclusively partnered with our agency to appoint an exceptional Registered Manager for a children's residential home in Kent.

We are seeking a proven leader with a track record of managing a Children's Home rated Good or Outstanding.

The Opportunity
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the Home
- Ensure young people receive exceptional emotional and physical care
- Build, lead, and develop a passionate, values-driven staff team
- Embed a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning
- Drive compliance across safeguarding, health & safety, finance, and governance
- Oversee induction, supervision, and appraisal processes to elevate staff performance
- Play a key role within the wider senior management team, contributing to strategic growth
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability and takes pride in delivering standards that exceed regulatory expectations.
We are looking for a Registered Manager who:
- Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Childcare (minimum)
- Holds or is working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
- Has successfully managed a Children's Home rated ‘Good' or ‘Outstanding'
- Demonstrates strong leadership, resilience, and emotional intelligence
- Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people
- Is prepared to undertake an enhanced DBS and provide references

This is a brand new service opening soon which specializes in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors, including those who have been previously detained under the Mental Health Act or discharged from the hospital on a Community Treatment Order
As the PBS Lead your key responsibilities include:
Lead and embed a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) culture across the home, ensuring alignment with PBS principles: enhancing quality of life, skill development, and minimising restrictive practices
Oversee implementation and monitoring of PBS strategies in daily care delivery
Collaborate closely with the PBS Practitioner to review behavioural data, align strategies, and attend regular progress meetings
Conduct monthly PBS plan reviews, provide feedback, and ensure updates are signed off on Nourish
Attend and engage in relevant PBS and professional training sessions
Support with personal care, medication administration, mobility assistance, and daily living activities as required
Maintain accurate care records, carry out regular welfare checks, and uphold safeguarding standards
Facilitate community integration and participation in meaningful social activities
Communicate professionally with people we support, families, staff, and external professionals
Promote safe working practices in line with Kingsley Healthcare's policies and ensure confidentiality at all times
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Have experience of caring for people e.g.
raising a family, caring for relatives with care needs
Ability to show empathy, understanding and experience of the needs of the people we support

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated PBS Lead to work in a brand new learning disabilities care home opening soon based in the Beccles, Suffolk area.
You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers
This is a brand new service opening soon which specializes in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors, including those who have been previously detained under the Mental Health Act or discharged from the hospital on a Community Treatment Order
As the PBS Lead your key responsibilities include:
Lead and embed a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) culture across the home, ensuring alignment with PBS principles: enhancing quality of life, skill development, and minimising restrictive practices
Oversee implementation and monitoring of PBS strategies in daily care delivery
Collaborate closely with the PBS Practitioner to review behavioural data, align strategies, and attend regular progress meetings
Conduct monthly PBS plan reviews, provide feedback, and ensure updates are signed off on Nourish
Attend and engage in relevant PBS and professional training sessions
Support with personal care, medication administration, mobility assistance, and daily living activities as required
Maintain accurate care records, carry out regular welfare checks, and uphold safeguarding standards
Facilitate community integration and participation in meaningful social activities
Communicate professionally with people we support, families, staff, and external professionals
Promote safe working practices in line with Kingsley Healthcare's policies and ensure confidentiality at all times
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Have experience of caring for people e.g.
raising a family, caring for relatives with care needs
Ability to show empathy, understanding and experience of the needs of the people we support
Well-developed time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
Ability to make balanced, clear and timely decisions
Takes a pro-active approach to consulting and involving in decision making process as appropriate
Knowledge of food hygiene preparation or a willingness to learn
Undertake mandatory training
Undertake training in specialist subjects
The successful PBS Lead will receive an excellent salary of £14.50 per hour and the annual salary is £27,144 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 36 hours a week on a mix of shifts.

As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:
Lead, recruit, and develop the staff team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a compassionate culture
Ensure full regulatory compliance and safe, effective operation of the home, including oversight of records, risk management, and continuous performance improvement
Manage financial performance and occupancy, including budget control and marketing to maintain full capacity
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and key stakeholders, responding appropriately to needs and concerns
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
An understanding of the regulatory requirements such as Health and Social Care Act, CQC regulations, KLOEs, Fundamental Standards, and Quality Statements
Passionate about providing high quality person-centred care and be dynamic and driven with clear ambition to develop
You will need to have good IT skills as you will be working with a lot of different platforms
Experienced manager running a good care home
A current registration with the CQC or a previous registration in a similar role
Up-to-date knowledge of care sector regulations and best practices
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £42,500 - £51,000 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week from 9am-5pm.
