Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Management of QEHS across the company and all sites.

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are finished on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Procure new business in line with agreed budgets.
Liaising with existing and new clients.
Finalise rates, value engineering options, prelims etc.
on all tenders with Estimating Manager.
Produce support documentation for tenders and prequalification submissions.
Attend client tender review meetings, resolve issues and close out deal.
Review and negotiate client contract terms.

, 5+ years' experience in similar management role in construction industry
, Qualification or Equivalent in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline
, Excellent industry knowledge
, Proven track record of overseeing delivery of large-scale construction projects within budget, specification, and timescale

Job Summary:
My client, a family ran company based in Ballycoolin are seeking a Senior QS to join their expanding team.

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
Pre-contract cost control and documentation
Oversee all commercial aspects of the contracts, support site staff in understanding the contract documents in order to satisfy the clients requirements and maximize revenue/variations.
Producing fully priced and detailed bills of quantities, labour hours and materials for the complete project life-cycle
Commercial feedback into internal systems, and management of internal systems, for example Sage.
The Quantity Surveyor will be preparing costs for variations
Producing progress and cost reports when requested
The Quantity Surveyor will be reporting to senior management on progression of projects
Involvement in cost plans, tracking labour costs and efficiency throughout projects

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
Third level qualification preferably in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
