GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This position has responsibility of assisting members of the product and technical groups in executing their respective missions.
The candidate must be a team player and interface / coordinate with several other departments within Tremco.
Expectations are to participate in critical activities aimed at improving existing technical documentation, creating new technical documentation, solving application challenges in the field and assisting with providing technical training to the sales force.
Taking initiative, demonstrating enthusiasm, learning new skills and working towards greater autonomy are also expected.
The position reports to the Technical Resource Manager and will work closely with the Director, Technical Solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides technical expertise and training to other departments and the sales force. Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide technical support responsive to customer and sales force needs.
Develops and maintains a prioritized list of assignments from the Technical Resource Manager, the Director, Technical Solutions, and Product Managers.
Assists with coordinating, development and updating of technical documents. Monitors and advises on competitive product information. Develops product line presentations and participates in training meetings for customers and company sales force. Actively participates with Industry organizations where appropriate. Assists the product and technical group with technical support, including assisting with the product group helpdesk.
Visits construction sites to observe, collect, and report application procedures and deficiencies.
Manages the system engineered to assist the sales force with national inquiries.
Assists with the field trails of new products and processes.
Responsibilities will include any and all responsibilities deemed necessary by the Technical Resource Manager and/or Director, Technical Solutions. Generate and/or edit drawing details using AutoCAD or similar software.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 1+ year of related experience required.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency using AutoCAD or similar software program. Willing and able to access commercial building roofs using a ladder.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, sales and marketing staff, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Willingness to actively participate in a continuing education program.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $48,426 and $60,532 .

The Engineering, Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing all engineering activities and maintaining and upgrading the Site's facilities and production equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with LEAN leadership in eliminating unplanned production interruptions. Use DAKOTA as the compliance tool to report incidents, near misses and non-conformances, and to maintain compliance with EH&S. Work with the maintenance crew to implement the needed preventative measures. Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions. Prepare capital projects for submission to management.
Included are costs, schedule, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and needed procedures. Serve as lead project engineer for approved capital projects with the goal of on time and on budget completion. Develop and administer a viable and visual Preventative Maintenance Program that reduces downtime and improves overall reliability of production and production supporting machinery.

Help coordinate manufacturing launch of new/revised products including tooling, equipment, methods and shop floor support. Create Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and drawing package updates to support implementation of new product development efforts and changes to existing products. Specify/Design and coordinate fabrication of patterns, molds, fixtures, and gauges required in the manufacture of components and assemblies. Provide shop floor support, interfacing with other functional groups as required, to resolve processing issues with sound, lasting, corrective actions. Participate in "make/buy" decisions to determine the most cost-effective manner in which to manufacture hardware. Review new tooling (injection mold, vacuum form, and rotomold) packages to ensure all tooling meets part design and manufacturing requirements. Establish process control parameters and help to define Standard Work to optimize efficiency and First Pass Yield (FPY). Analyze space requirements and workflow, and design the layout of equipment and workstations to ensure maximum efficiency and an ergonomically sound work environment. Perform research and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer vacancy is working with a market leading Blue Chip Manufacturing firm in the Basildon area.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include:
Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.
Experience and Qualifications Required for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g.
NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or Electrical
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
