The Electronic Inspector is a key part of the operations structure, acting as key support for the Quality Controller & is expected to operate within the framework of objectives and targets determined by the Management but with the latitude to pursue initiatives that will enable the department targets to be achieved.
Key Responsibilities for the Electronic Inspector:
- Final Inspection of PCBs, Electrical & Electronic Assemblies.
- Assist in the resolution of quality-related problems.
- To work with the Quality Controller to develop, improve & maintain quality standards across the areas of responsibility.
- To work with the Quality Controller to ensure that the key performance targets of quality, productivity, on-time delivery are met.
- Provide QA support as necessary.
- To assist the Quality Controller in the diagnosis of quality problems.
For an Electronic Inspector role we will require:

A well-established company, with years of experience providing the design and manufacture of electrical and assembly products, they are based in a modern facility in Hampshire with a close-knit and friendly team right at the centre of all they do.
This role is offering a Temporary to Permanent contract, working Monday to Thursday 7:30-4:00 with an early finish on Friday!
This role is paying between £13 - £13.50ph (depending on experience)
As a Quality Inspector, you will be:
- Quality checking assemblies
- Quality checking labels
- Testing of products using multimeters and Verniers
- Supporting the inspection team
To be a successful Quality Inspector you must:
- Quality inspection in an electrical manufacturing background

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Desirable Qualifications

What is on offer to the Junior Quality Inspector
£27,000 - £30,000 per annum
Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm.
Friday 7.30am to 3pm
39 hours per week

Key Accountabilities of the Junior Quality Inspector
Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections of products or components
Use measuring tools such as calliper's, micrometres, and gauges to verify specifications
Record and document inspection results accurately and clearly
Report any defects or non-conformities to senior inspectors or supervisors
Follow established quality control procedures and protocols
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
Review work orders, technical drawings, and specifications as needed
Key experience required for the Junior Quality Inspector
Background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
Formal engineering qualifications would be a distinct advantage but not essential
Basic knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
Familiarity with measuring tools like calliper's, micrometres, and gauges
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
