Job Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our manufacturing operations.
This role will focus on cost accounting, sales and revenue analysis, and comprehensive review of financial statements to provide insights that support operational efficiency, profitability, and strategic decision-making.

Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods; investigate and explain key drivers.

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing KPIs such as cost per unit, efficiency, scrap, yield, and absorption.
• Support inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to cost accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Ensure proper overhead allocation and compliance with accounting standards.
Sales & Revenue Analysis
• Analyze sales performance, revenue trends, pricing, and product/customer profitability.
• Assist with pricing analysis, margin analysis, and make-versus-buy or product mix decisions.
• Monitor revenue variances and identify drivers related to volume, pricing, and mix.
Cross-Functional & Operational Support
• Partner with operations, supply chain, sales, and engineering teams to understand financial impacts of business activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and process efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits by providing financial data, documentation, and analysis as needed.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, certification and/or licensure required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential duties and meet the necessary employment standards may be considered.
Education and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
• 1-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or cost accounting; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Exposure to standard costing, inventory accounting, or pricing analysis preferred.
• D365 Finance and Operations preferred.
• Understanding of Databases (SQL or equivalent) preferred.
• Power BI Development preferred.
Employment Standards
• Working knowledge of cost accounting, financial statements, and revenue analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel based data modeling and data analysis skills.

This hospital provides a specialist inpatient service for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness.

As the Deputy Ward Manager your key responsibilities include:
Assisting the Ward Manager in providing day to day management and supervision of the ward
Assisting the Ward manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff
Implementing best practice across the ward
Support changes within the service
Responsible for the clinical direction of the service
Support the delivery of personalised care and contribute to service improvement
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Experienced in delivering and receiving supervision
Ability to access and prioritise clinical situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player
The post holder must be experienced in delivering and receiving supervision
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to be able to assess and prioritise clinical situations
The management of effective communication between medical and nursing staff both verbal and written is a key element of this role
The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £39,847 per annum.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled mechanical engineer with a passion for product design, manufacturing processes, and engineering innovation.
You will take ownership of projects from initial concept through to production, delivering high-quality, cost-effective designs that meet both customer and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, based in West Sussex:
Lead the design and development of mechanical products from concept through to manufacture
Produce detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks
Design for manufacturing processes, including plastics (injection moulding, vacuum forming), sheet metal, and fabrication
Develop products in line with cost targets, performance requirements, and manufacturing capabilities
Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation
Generate renderings and visuals for customer presentations and internal stakeholders
Prepare files for rapid prototyping and tooling manufacture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, NPI, production, and sales

Essential
Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role
Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (3D CAD and drawing creation)
Strong knowledge of the product design lifecycle from concept to production
Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, tolerancing, and assemblies
Experience managing workloads and delivering projects to deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
Ability to balance technical, commercial, and manufacturing requirements
Desirable
Experience with plastic product design and injection moulding techniques
Knowledge of vacuum forming, sheet metal, and fabrication processes
