Hours: On average you will work 6 hours and some days you may only work for an hour.

You will be paid the full amount into your bank account and be responsible for declaring your earnings.

Key Details:
Position: Home to School Passenger Assistant
Service: Local Kitchen, Transport & Road Safety (LTRS)
Hours: Usual shifts are 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM, though this may vary.
Contracted Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week, with the flexibility required for potential route changes.
Location: Pick-up and drop-off are from your residence.
Role Responsibilities:
Escort children safely on and off the vehicle, ensuring a calm and secure environment throughout the journey.
Work one-on-one or with small groups, adapting to a range of disabilities and complex needs.
Communicate effectively with children, carers, families, and school staff, building positive relationships.
Handle challenging behaviors, reporting incidents accurately and promptly.
Follow all safeguarding and GDPR guidelines to protect the well-being and privacy of those in your care.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of safeguarding for vulnerable children.
Physical capability to assist passengers as needed (e.g., bending, stretching, lifting).
Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude toward adapting to changing routes.
