Fugro are looking for a Proposal Specialist to join the Metocean monitoring and forecasting team working in the offshore sustainable energy and marine sectors.
Based out of either our Wallingford or Portchester offices you will be part of a 16 strong team responsible for building winning quotes and tenders for our clients located across Europe and Africa (EUAF).

As a Senior Marine Operations Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of marine surveys to include Metocean field engineering activities.
The engineer will be the lead person managing the deployment and recovery of Metocean equipment, both moorings and subsea components while also acting as the offshore client liaison.

Requirements:
In depth knowledge of Electronic Security Technology
Experience of Gate Automation would be an advantage.
An appreciation of industry and related quality standards.
Attention to detail with the capacity to trace problems to root cause.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Liaise with customers by phone, email and in person, be customer focused.
Ability to work on own initiative
Full clean driving licence.
3 years' experience in a similar role is desirable

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Travelling between locations will be a major part of this position and a full clean driver's licence is required. Delivery of effective PPM with customers. Respond to breakdown and callouts. Be highly motivated to work on own initiative and meet deadlines on site. Complete reports promptly. Have good communication skills with customers and peers.
Qualifications & Experience
Experienced boiler/heating engineer. RGI membership an advantage but not essential as training can be provided. Electrical knowledge a bonus. Full clean driver's licence.
5 years experience post apprenticeship.
5+ years HVAC servicing experience, desired.
