The primary function of a Tremco Project & Compatibility Lab Technician is to manage internal testing procedures that are used to establish a compatibility matrix for all Tremco products that are subject to contact in typical construction applications.
The P&C Lab Technician will perform Project Testing and support testing functions for Decks, Below Grade Waterproofing, Sealants and Air Barriers.
These test functions include Product Comparison, Product Compatibly, ASTM Testing (potential addendums to existing standard method requirements).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Laboratory: 75% of time will be spent in the laboratory in constructing test samples, documenting performance and maintaining a clean working environment.

Identify and contact suppliers and subcontractors as needed for inclusion in estimates. Conduct thorough take-offs for roofing repairs and renovations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the project scope. Assemble and present estimates with precision, incorporating both numerical data and precise descriptive details. Training includes: Proper completion of services and related documentation. Safety training and documentation requirements. Certification and approval of Field Representatives, including OSHA Hazard Awareness and Toolbox Talks. Conduct Platinum Inspections, in conjunction with the Inspection Team, to prepare associated cost estimate proposals. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of WTI services and deliverables. Participate in all required calls, meetings, and organizational communications. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the Regional Business Manager (RBM) or GS Supervisor.

Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum.
Do not drop on floor or area.
In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately. 7.

Production Quality Lab Technicians may have to dispose of product samples, line flush, off-spec product, or expired product retain samples.
This waste material is transferred to the hazardous waste satellite accumulation drum. 2.
Production workers clean equipment and tanks pre-rinse, wipe, scrub, and final rinse surfaces using wash solvent, brushes and rags.
Dirty solvent is transferred to the satellite accumulation area. 3.
Transfer used wash solvent to the satellite accumulation drum or tank. 4.
Ensure hazardous waste storage or accumulation containers remain sealed except during the addition or removal of waste. 5.
Ensure Hazardous Waste storage containers are clearly labeled "Hazardous Waste." 6.
Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum.
Do not drop on floor or area.
In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately. 7.
When 55 gallons has accumulated, the satellite accumulation container must be moved to a permanent hazardous waste storage area within 3 days and relabeled "Hazardous Waste." REQUISITE SKILL, EDUCATION, OR OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
