Position Summary:
Applies all Carboline coatings to panels for use by customers, sales and R&D for testing purposes as well as for sales aids.
Participates in spray evaluations.
Essential Functions:
• Preparation of panels prior to coating.
Have a good understanding of the basic operation of hand and power tools, abrasive blast cabinet and pin welder.
To include minor maintenance of same. • Have a good understanding of how to operate as well as maintain mixing equipment, airless and conventional spray equipment to apply Carboline products. • Know how to use inspection equipment, surface preparation standards, etc. • Provide documentation for panels which will be tested.
Spray nuclear testing orders upon certification. • Responsible for maintaining a stock of standard panel systems. • Package and ship sample panels. • Understand basic coating technologies so that Carboline coatings can be properly applied and cured for sample panels, evaluations, field work, etc.
Be able to troubleshoot and correct coating and application problems. • Assist the R&D Department in application of new or revised product evaluations, new equipment evaluations, etc.
within capabilities. • Assist in performing application and equipment demonstrations for sales and customer schools or other in-house training on company products or equipment within capabilities. • Responsible for participating in the daily cleaning of the work area. • Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and immediately report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office, emails etc. • Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. • Receives annual training in RCRA Hazardous Waste and Carboline's Contingency Plan and will adhere to this training while performing their job. • Perform additional duties as assigned • Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent minimum 3 years Painting/ Applications experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds approximately 10% of the time; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, and Acrylics.
Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA (respirator worn 20% of the time).
Able to operate, maintain, and repair equipment which includes handling, moving, and hand/eye coordination (approximately 35% of the time).
The equipment includes but is not limited to: airless pumps, blasting, welding, and power hand tools.

Position Summary:
This position is for a Marketing Content Creation Intern who will work alongside marketing experts at our St.
Louis Headquarters. This person will create strategic content in support of multiple product lines.
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Marketing Content Creation Intern will work closely with Carboline's Content Strategist to plan, write, edit, and publish global marketing collateral.
This is a paid, extended internship with no finite end date.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED, additionally the completion of at least 30 credit hours toward a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
Experience related to either manufacturing, industrial, or engineering or enrolling in a program in a related field is also desirable. This paid intern will work roughly 30 - 40 hours per week from May-August.
Must be pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering or a similar field.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require light physical activity and computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Work environments may require the use of hearing protection, eye protection, and steel toed shoes.

Requirements:

Answer a high volume of phone calls, including will-call customers. Position Description: Carboline is looking to fill an open Territory Sales Representative located near large cities in Tennessee. This position will be responsible for both selling and generating new business with already established customers while also developing new prospects to grow volume, revenue and increase the profitability of this territory.
We are seeking individuals with a hunter's mentality and prior experience working in the paint and coatings industry.
This position will report into the Central Region Director of Sales.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's in Business or a Technical degree or equivalent experience 4+ years sales and or business development experience in the fireproofing or protective coatings industry
Preferred Requirements
Previous industrial sales experience and NACE certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position requires minimal physical activity.
May require lifting up to 50lbs on occasion.
May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Occasional exposure to various chemicals.
May require travel by car up to 50%, including nighttime.
Essential Functions
Responsible for calling on new and existing customers to build sales volume, to remain abreast of customer requirements and to assess market trends. Calls on customers and prospective customers to inform them of products, new releases, services available, supply, etc.
Provides technical assistance when necessary. Responsible for securing and renewing orders; works with customer services and sales management to provide servicing levels required by the customer. Builds and maintains a sales program within the territory based on strategic planning including prospecting, new business development, levels of available business and level of repeat business. Works effectively with all company personnel and resources to provide full customer service and assure continuing customer satisfaction. Gathers and reports significant developments within accounts, prospects competitors and the general market for use by company management in research, analysis and planning purposes. Position Summary:
This position will be on 2nd shift (10:30am-7:00pm CST) and will primarily responsible for administering and coordinating all daily service center activities.
Essential Functions:
• Handle all incoming calls including customers, providing directions to the Service Center, providing information regarding orders, routing calls to appropriate individuals to assure accurate information is provided. • Assist with will-call customers. • Print various documentation such as: Bill of Ladings, Packing Slips, and PIC lists. • Prepare all shipping paperwork. • Contacts freight lines to arrange order pickups. • Complete miscellaneous filing, typing, copying and other projects that are necessary to keep the day-to-day workflow of the service center organized. • Data entry in computer on all shipments leaving the facility such as pro #'s from truck lines, freight charges. • Provide customer service assistance to all Customer Service Representatives to assist them in obtaining the necessary information they need to get their shipments out. • Run various reports as requested. • Back up warehouse functions of cycle count during annual inventory. • Communicates with the manufacturing plant, scheduling, shipment, and delivery of product.
May involve prioritizing and negotiating product availability, partial shipments, or splitting shipments. • Follows up daily on order status and notifies CSRs or sales rep of any changes. • Operates the LN computer system for Sales and Replenishment order shipments. • Review orders for special requirements of customers and ensure that the information is conveyed to the appropriate warehousemen. • Works with Corporate Traffic Department to make cost efficient shipments. • Perform additional duties as assigned • Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:

As the Reach/High Lift Operator you will be expected to receive, store, and distribute material, equipment, and products within the establishment by performing the following on a daily basis: Read orders to determine what products are to be pulled and put on pallets. Receive incoming materials, verifying amount received against packing slip, manifests, invoices or orders and noting any shortages. Prepare product/materials for shipment- supporting the continuous retrieving of material and staging at designated locations along the production line. Record shipment data- including weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for recordkeeping purposes. Support maintenance and organization of warehouse - including cleanliness and housekeeping. Partake in inventory records management- noting stock received and dispersed. Support security of the warehouse and inventory- letting only authorized personnel in warehouse area. Communicate with supervisors on any problems or issues that may arise such as damages, shortages or nonconformance to specifications- escalating further as required to management. Sort and place products and materials on racks, shelves and/or in bins according to product code. Open crates and other containers. Qualifications and Previous Experience:
High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year previous experience/certification for sit down forklift, stand up forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack- and ability to demonstrate proficiency on equipment. IT Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages- ability to maintain inventory records electronically. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
