JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Analyst partners with business stakeholders and technology teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions.
This role gathers requirements, designs future-state processes, and supports business transformation initiatives.
Essential Functions
Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders.
Develop process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and business cases.
Partner with IT, project managers, developers, and business leaders to deliver solutions.
Support solution design, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation.
Analyze business data and KPIs to support decision-making.
Prepare executive presentations and project documentation.
Identify project risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
Drive continuous process improvement and change management.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
3-7+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, process improvement, or related field.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
Experience working in Agile project environments preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio or similar tools.

ERP and CRM systems experience
Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools
Digital transformation experience

Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $85,000 and $110,000.
The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited are working with a reputable and growing business who are looking for a Product Owner to help shape and improve software products used by organisations across the public sector.
As Product Manager, you'll take ownership of key areas of the platform and manage the product lifecycle from initial discovery through to delivery and continuous improvement.
You'll work closely with senior product leadership, developers and customer stakeholders to understand user challenges and turn complex processes into clear, practical product requirements.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting close to users, asking the right questions and making evidence-led decisions about what should be built and why.
THE ROLE:
Own key areas of the product from discovery through to launch and ongoing improvement.
Carry out user research to understand customer needs, challenges and existing processes.
Manage and prioritise the product backlog alongside senior product leadership.
Translate customer requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and product requirements.
Work closely with development, design and QA throughout the delivery process.
Use customer feedback and product data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to roadmap planning and communicate upcoming developments to internal and external stakeholders.
Keep up to date with relevant regulatory and industry changes that could impact the product.
THE PERSON:
Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst within a software environment.
Ideally, experience within B2B SaaS, public sector technology or another regulated industry.
Strong discovery and user research skills.
Experience managing backlogs and writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Comfortable working with cross-functional development teams in an agile environment.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
An analytical approach to prioritisation and product decisions.
Experience using Jira or similar product delivery tools.
Confident and up-to-date user of AI tools, with an understanding of how they can be applied effectively within a modern product environment.
