As a Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for carrying out final inspections on specialist vehicle conversions, identifying any defects and ensuring all work has been completed accurately before vehicles are handed over to customers.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector role:
Ensure all components, fittings and equipment have been installed correctly and are fully operational.
Record inspection results using a tablet-based quality management system.
Operate vehicle weigh pads and accurately record conversion weights.
Complete all quality documentation and inspection reports.
Support vehicle handovers, including occasional customer interaction.
Work closely with the Workshop Compliance Manager and Workshop Manager to maintain quality standards.
Identify defects and work with production teams to ensure corrective actions are completed.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow all Health & Safety procedures.
You would be suitable for the role should you have previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, PDI Inspector, Vehicle Inspector or within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
Key skills you must have for the Quality Inspector role:
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and ensure high-quality workmanship.
Basic computer skills and confidence using tablets or electronic inspection systems.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Have advanced Excel skills, including SUMIFS, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP and PivotTables
