Based at the Birmingham HQ, you will work at least 40 hours per week within the business on-site.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include hands-on supply chain management for the business with an underline key objective to continually ensure 100% stock availability for our customer.
You must have the drive to assist in the growth of the business, whilst keeping a very customer centric attitude towards day-to-day operational tasks.
You must also have a keen eye for the detail and will be responsible in gaining efficiencies in the current purchasing & supply chain processes by automating processes, develop purchasing plans, regularly monitoring inventory and assessing supplier performance with the ultimate objective of nearing 100% OTIF level on customer orders.
Your role shall also require regular communication and liaison with various departments to ensure smooth functioning of the operations.
Some of the key activities/ accountabilities will include but not limited to:
Own purchasing plans and stock replenishment in line with demand and supplier lead times
Assist rolling out new automation across the supply chain
Build reporting dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (Klipboard K8)
Track supplier performance and highlight risks, opportunities, and savings
Balance stock levels to keep customers in-stock while reducing excess inventory
Turn procurement, supplier, and inventory data into actionable insights
Present insights weekly to the Commercial Manager and to the Board
Drive continuous improvements in purchasing, logistics, and distribution
Work closely with freight forwarders to arrange shipping schedules and delivery bookings in our DC.
Ensure suppliers are to arrange correct shipping documents timely and first stage invoices on K8.
Coordinate with the Goods-in team to ensure all incoming stock is delivered and booked in a timely manner.
Help update K8 system with latest product data including supplier, barcode, dimensions, prices, etc.
Requirements:
2-3 years' applied experience as a supply chain planner or analyst (essential)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros, modelling) or Excel certification
Experience with Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Strong analytical mindset and commercial awareness
Excellent communication skills, confident presenting to managers and directors
Organised, detail-focused, proactive approach
You will need to be able to work well under pressure and take initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations in Basingstoke.
This on-site role is ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse management who can lead a team, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and international shipping compliance.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee inbound and outbound shipments, international logistics, stock control, team performance, and process improvements, ensuring all warehouse operations run smoothly and meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Supervisor role in Basingstoke
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, booking, picking, packing, shipping, and returns(RMA)
Manage international and domestic shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders and shipping providers (DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
Conduct cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies, performing root-cause analysis
Ensure warehouse processes comply with customer requirements, QA standards, and ISO procedures
Provide coaching, on-the-job training, and performance feedback for warehouse staff
Monitor shipping activities, negotiate competitive rates, and maintain strong relationships with carriers
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety policies and record keeping
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Clear and effective communication skills
Ability to take accountability, motivate teams, and drive operational results
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (5S, Kaizen, etc.) Is advantageous
Proficiency in ERP systems and basic IT skills
Qualifications & Experience
Secondary school education or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse supervision or management
Hands-on experience in warehouse operations, including international shipping and logistics
Knowledge of import/export processes and freight handling
Forklift and material handling equipment certified/experienced
Strong understanding of warehouse processes: inbound, outbound, inventory management, RMA, and stock control

The Person We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager / Logistics Manager with a strong operational and commercial mindset. You will ideally have:
Proven experience as a Transport Manager, Logistics Manager, Fleet Manager, or similar
Experience managing drivers and transport operations within manufacturing, engineering, or complex logistics environments
Strong background coordinating and managing subcontracted haulage
Experience handling irregular, oversized, or non-standard freight, not just “rinse-and-repeat” loads
A commercial approach to cost control, transport planning, and supplier management
Confidence working with transport data, KPIs, and performance metrics
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, able to engage with both front-line drivers and senior stakeholders
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office / Excel
