Within the Production Technician position, you will be responsible for providing hands on support to the factory maintenance and production team, taking responsibility for the cleaning, inspection, repair, replacement and lubrication of manufacturing plant machinery and Kiln Cars.You will have the ability to work hands-on, preferably with experience covering engineering or maintenance activities, and be capable of using hand tools and have experience with fitting, welding and fabrication. You will be responsible for Inspecting and monitoring Plant equipment including assessing kiln car condition to identify immediate and long-term repair requirements as well as the updating of maintenance records.
The role also includes maintaining the refractory and managing spares stock and inventory as well as maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in work areas.The position is working with a UK market leading manufacturing organisation based close to Almondsbury area of Bristol.What's in it for you:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Paint Shop Prepper with experience in paint shop prepping & painting to join a well-established construction equipment sales and service company.
This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £33,600 for a 47.5-hour work week.
As a Paint Shop Prepper, you will work on heavy plant machinery and equipment at clients site in Stratford-upon-Avon.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked in a similar role such as a Paint Shop Prepper, Paint Prep Technician, Vehicle Prepper, Paint Sprayer or Painter.
* Experience in paint shop prepping & painting.
* A reliable, hard-working individual with a keen eye for detail.
Shift:
* Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm
Whats on offer:
* Competitive salary (£12.50 per hour for 39 hours, £18.75 overtime rate thereafter)
* 22 days holiday, including time off over Christmas
* Pension scheme (company contribute 5%, employee 3%)
* Death in service benefit (3 times annual salary)
