Purpose
To provide customer-focused, efficient and effective administrative support to the Strategic Transport and Highways team, including project support where required.
To manage the Strategic Transport and Highways team mailboxes and casework systems, ensuring timely and accurate responses to internal and external enquiries, complaints, and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
To deliver a wide range of both routine and more complex administrative tasks in order to support the effective and efficient delivery of services within the Strategic Transport and Highways team.

Responsibilities
Support, guide and mentor the Admin Assistants on all aspects of the work, including providing input into the PES process as required.
Receive, sort, distribute and respond to incoming and outgoing post (including via electronic systems) for the team.
File records in an accurate and timely fashion and maintain electronic or paper filing systems.
Photocopy, scan and index documents to ensure information can be distributed to intended recipients.
Collate, print and distribute documents or materials as required by the team.
Take accurate minutes or notes at meetings, panels or other events (including more complex or sensitive situations), ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Support the maintenance of records and monitoring for service budgets and contract registers.

Raise Purchase Orders (PO's) and process invoices and be responsible for authenticating invoices and payments in accordance with the Council's financial procedures and regulations.
Undertake general office management tasks, including supporting Business Continuity and Health & Safety processes, completing Display Screen Equipment (DSE) or other risk assessments and maintaining corporate registers or contract lists.
Research and collate information and respond to complaints and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, in support of Team and Service Managers, liaising with staff and managers to ensure that deadlines are met.
Coordinate recruitment activity for temporary and permanent staff (in conjunction with individual services and HR)
Coordinate induction and training sessions for new staff within the department.
Work flexibly across the Strategic Transport and Highways service to provide cover for other officers as required.

Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading and motivating others
Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance and care inspectorate
Passionate, driven, confident and resilient Leader

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.

Develop and maintain an understanding of SAP and product complaint transactions and/or Warranty Service Requests (Warranty Portal). Coordinate analytical testing with Sales, Technical Application Specialists and Laboratory Analysts as it relates to the Product Complaint and Resolutions Process. Assist with training on the Product Complaint & Resolution Process and/or Warranty Service Requests (Warranty Portal) for both internal and external customers. Meet regularly with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality and Technical Teams) to review Product Complaint trends and current open complaints for all Tremco CPG product lines. Update Product Complaint Manual in accordance with our ISO standards and/or established guidelines. Place product orders, track and provide follow-up for the Technical Service Department (certification testing, field trials and project testing, etc.). Answer inquiries via telephone, e-mail and/or text from internal and external customers regarding all Tremco CPG product complaints along with inquiries from Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Tremco Sales Reps, Distributors and Homeowners regarding all Tremco CPG products. Act as back up support for the Technical Resource Center. Assist team on special projects and assignments as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, Bachelor's degree in business, Science, Construction Management or a similar field preferred; in lieu of degree, 5 years of direct customer complaint and claims experience is acceptable.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Process Engineer II is an extension of management.
Responsibilities are broad and include safety, product quality, process control, productivity improvement, and development of a LEAN culture.
The Engineer is expected to spend a significant amount of time on the floor, lead major process equipment projects, and mentor less experienced engineers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assume a leadership position at the facility in partnership with the shift supervisors.
Activities include resolution and communication regarding safety issues.
Execute scheduled PHA's and JSA's.
Proactively monitor areas and remediate potential safety issues.
Use DAKOTA software as a tool for compliance and environmental, health and safety.
Use the tool to report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
Develop and execute upon "standard work" activities.
Assume responsibility for assigned activities on the Engineering Tier and other accountability boards.
Conduct "GEMBA Walks" daily.
Use walks as the primary means of education and communication of expectations.
Improve productivity through elimination of non-value-added activities.
Apply Engineering principles and methodologies to Improve productivity and eliminate waste.
Work to maximize equipment efficiency and quality for output.
Member of the facility QIC.
Ensure identification of root cause and subsequent prevention of future customer complaints.
Assist in the training of operators with a focus on quality critical product specifications and process parameters.
Significant experience with equipment troubleshooting and process design.
Must be capable of successfully managing major process equipment projects (>$750k) on time and on budget.
Must be capable of leading and/or supervising others in their role or in the execution of completing a project.
Mentors less experienced engineers.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
B.S.
in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Controls, or similar Engineering Degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two+ years related experience and/or training.
Must have experience in both practical Process Engineering and Project Management.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in workflow processes, value stream efficiency, and systems thinking.
Understanding process variance and the resultant effects on Quality.
Knowledge of applied statistics.
Ability to perform problem analysis utilizing problem-solving methodology.
Must be knowledgeable in the Project Management software being used.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.
