This Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Generator Technician position involves preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on generators, UPS systems, control systems, and other critical power equipment.
Responsibilities include load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, installation, and commissioning of power systems, as well as deploying temporary or hire equipment on customer sites.
Travel around the Kent area will be required.

Duties and responsibilities of the Field service engineer (generators) :
Perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on generators, UPS, control systems, and related equipment
Conduct load bank testing, site surveys, and inspections of critical power systems
Assist with the installation and commissioning of various critical power equipment
Install temporary or hire equipment, including generator sets and UPS, on customer sites
Plan, schedule, and oversee onsite work, ensuring safety compliance and risk assessments are carried out
Qualifications and requirements for the (insert job title):

Document accurate maintenance activity records.
Clean and maintain assigned areas and tools to ensure proper functionality.
Participate in the continuous improvement process.
Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through the appropriate channels.

Give input on and coordinate maintenance supply purchases.
Perform Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure completion and accuracy.
Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Crosstrain on other production functions to aid as business needs dictate.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

One-year certificate from college, technical school, or manufacturing training program.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Willingness and ability to restore any used equipment that can be reused. Will be required to do paperwork (such as DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, Daily or Weekly Reports, etc.) The DOT Certifications will be done professionally on Euclid Letterhead and handed to the customer. May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.). Required to order equipment and install that equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation. Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when needed. Assist in state inspections where necessary. Respond to customer issues with those dispensers when needed. Assure that their truck is properly equipped with the necessary parts to fix or repair the equipment.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays when required.
Flexibility: A flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, depending on customer needs.
