Assist quality team in performing routine tests accurately and timely to determine if the products meet product specifications and approve product for shipping and filling.
Manage retain room filing and disposal.
Sustain lab 5S (QC lab and retain room).
Participate in product quality projects with root cause investigations and effective corrective actions with the goal of preventing customer complaints and reducing internal rework.
Lead small project for quality improvement through test, data collection, and analysis.
Other tasks and projects as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL SUMMARY: Perform a variety of general repairs, installations, and maintenance on facility equipment, building and utility systems.
Perform general carpentry, floor repairs and general repairs of facility.
Maintain record of maintenance and repairs.
Make routine checks and inspections of equipment for proper lubrication and other general maintenance functions.
Check out problem areas and make repairs and adjustments as needed.
Refer complex situations to supervisor.
Operate machines, tools, perform welding and other maintenance tasks as required.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Maintain, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment throughout facility Perform general carpentry work and repairs to building and grounds Perform inspections of equipment and machines and make necessary repairs as directed Maintain log of maintenance performed on machinery and equipment Respond to maintenance request items as assigned by supervisor Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner Maintain clean and safe work environment using correct tools properly

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Machine Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Machine Operator levels (I, II, & III).

Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards. Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications. Perform routine inspections per quality standards. Understand production instructions. Maintain accurate paperwork. Package, label, and store products. Cross-train on other production functions as business need dictates. Clean and maintain assigned area to ensure proper functionality. Report and assist with resolving safety, quality, and mechanical issues. Participate in the continuous improvement process. If appropriate, set up and operate various off-line and secondary equipment.
