The Role Of The Field Service Engineer Will Include:
, Field Service Engineer role covering London and surrounding areas within the M25 , Servicing, maintaining and fault finding on Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) and façade access equipment, Attending commercial and high-rise buildings to diagnose mechanical, electrical and control system faults , Working on motors, drives, control panels, winches, hoists, ropes, cables and associated equipment , Working at height and on commercial building façades where required
The Successful Field Service Engineer Will Have:

Responsible for a wide variety of manufacturing and facility maintenance and repairs.
Essential Functions
Experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems from 24v DC to 480v AC (single and three phase), in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
Experience with maintaining and repairing Form Fill and Seal machines (Ilpak and Triangle) 2.
Automation equipment, specifically Fanuc robots, conveyors, bag check weighers, palletizers, wrappers, and carton-bag machines
Experience repairing pumps, chemical bulk storage and mixing tanks and industrial mixers
Perform daily preventative maintenance and repair on facilities and production equipment
Perform system repairs including filters, belts, bearings, and drives
Ability to learn and complete documentation of work performed, including maintaining spare parts inventory in computer-based software
Maintain strong commitment to safety, as well as document daily EPA readings and perform routine safety repairs/inspections
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma
5 years' machine maintenance experience in an Industrial Environment.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment.
Equipment inspection includes preventative maintenance (PM) and associated documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all safety policies (especially Cardinal Rules - e.g.
Hot Work, LOTO, Confined Space)
Partner with Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager to support LEAN initiatives to eliminate unplanned production interruptions due to process equipment failure
Implement the needed preventative measures, including optimization of PM program
Ensure reliable operation of facility support processes and utilities (i.e.
HVAC, Steam Boilers Air Compressors, Tow motors, Cooling Towers, Hot Oil Heaters)
Diagnose/Troubleshoot, repair/replace and maintain facility electrical systems (e.g.
programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, lighting) and components (e.g.
sensors, switches, valves)
Diagnose/Troubleshoot, repair/replace and maintain facility mechanical systems (e.g.
product vessels/reactors, pumps) and components (e.g.
piping, manual valves)
Investigate equipment/process failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation
Assist Maintenance Supervisor to arrange and coordinate contractor tasks (including equipment rental) to support facility and process maintenance/repairs
Serve, as needed, on process hazard analysis (PHA) teams/sessions
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma required
EXPERIENCE:
One-year certificate from college or technical school and 1-2 years' experience OR
High School Diploma and 4 years' experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Deductive Reasoning - The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.
