GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Kettle Operator is responsible for processing Tremco Sealants and/or Roofing products by carefully reading and following the process order card.
The operator is responsible for area readiness to produce which includes safety and collection and preparation of materials like pails, drums, and other chemical raw materials.
One batch is complete the operator will test for quality, adjust as needed to assure specification is met by following written standard operating procedures, and then fill product into specified packaging and palletize pails or drums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using control boards, Human Machine Interface (HMI computer touch screen) or semi-automatic equipment.
Draw samples of products, and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and ensure that standards are met.
Use appropriate scales or measurement devices to add materials to the kettle as specified by batch process orders.
Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience is required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic Computer Skills required (Windows Familiarity).
Lean and VFM (Visual Factory Management) skills and/or willingness to train.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner.
Ability to read, write and comprehend the batch-making processes.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Engineering, Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing all engineering activities and for maintaining and upgrading the facilities and production equipment.
In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining/ advancing of a viable and visual Preventative Maintenance Program.at the facility and identifying capital requirements for the annual capital plan.
Responsibilities also include developing and assisting in value stream design and implementation of lean principles and tools within the manufacturing environment.
This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with value stream mapping, employee training, continuous improvement event facilitation, waste identification and elimination, problem solving (through the scientific method), work area and station design and layout, visual control implementation, material flow, progress tracking and communication.
Acts as a passionate advocate for a cultural change toward lean thinking throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with LEAN leadership in eliminating unplanned production interruptions. Use DAKOTA as the compliance tool to report incidents, near misses and non-conformances and to maintain compliance with EH&S Work with the maintenance crew to implement the needed preventative measures. Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions. Prepare capital projects for submission to management.
Included are costs, schedule, JHA, PHA, and procedures needed. Serve as lead project engineer for approved capital projects with the goal of on time and on budget completion. Develop and administer a viable and visual Preventative Maintenance Program that reduces downtime and improves overall reliability of production and production supporting machinery.
Responsible for identifying capital requirements for the facility's annual capital plan and budget. Direct, review, and approve product design and changes consistent with MOC procedures.
Recruit departmental employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
Analyze annual site utility expenditure and develop plans to optimize plant efficiency to reduce costs (ISO 14001).
Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
Integrate the plant PHA initiative with the appropriate capital projects. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and Interface with leadership, operators, and maintenance to develop needed TPM programs. Support SPC, DOE's, and other Quality initiatives. Lead Engineer for the production processes. Develop facility infrastructure upgrade plan Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all quality related functions in the plant.
Participate in the development of specifications for processing, products, and materials.
Perform all required quality tests for raw materials, work in progress, and finished products. Ensure that quality checks are performed at the required frequency and targets, additionally periodically evaluate target levels, and amend as appropriate. Regularly audit product and process to ensure standard work executed on the floor and in the lab.
Ensure that any non-conforming product is properly identified for a decision on disposition by Management. Track, report, and reduce manufacturing waste. Work directly with purchasing personnel on vendor quality or supply issues; assist with vendor selection and qualification.
Lead ISO Quality systems. Research customer complaints including but not limited to engaging in root cause investigation, suggesting corrective action, implementing actions, and providing follow up while following the SAP quality process and maintaining metrics.
Manage all lab functions and staff, while assuring the safety and integrity of those operations and employees.
Maintain all testing equipment and ensure that it is in proper working order. Organize and maintain related files, logs, and reports. Develop quality standards/test/inspection plan for raw materials and finished product (specification, sample size and frequency) as well as a robust training process. Develop lean and sustainable saving plans and facilitate small K generation and implementation.
Lead all product compliance activities to ensure certification.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality related programs such as lean, ISO, six sigma, etc.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Attain and maintain all related Health and Safety Certifications.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with manufacturing regulations and reporting methods. Knowledge of the production process and team interactions. Analytical acumen for compiling and analyzing data. Ensures equipment is set up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after, and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts ongoing assessment of quality control and operational procedures.

Here's what you can expect every day: Perform testing of production batches, incoming raw materials, finished goods, and components to determine conformance to specifications. Judge as "fit for release" production batches, incoming raw materials, finished goods, and components that are in conformance to all specifications and visually acceptable. Determine and communicate batch adjustments for any batches that do not conform to requirements, utilizing batch history, adjustment guidelines, and consultation with the QC Manager. Perform validation testing during filling to insure integrity of finished goods, including labeling, packaging, and fill weights. Communicate current status of inspections to QC Manager. Communicate issues with work instructions and procedures to QC Manager. Document inspection results.
Required Experience:

TITLE: Logistics Implementation Analyst LOCATION: Maple Shade, NJ JOB SUMMARY: Implement Infor ERPLn in new acquisitions and existing operations operating on legacy platforms.
Assist small and midsize enterprise (SME) operations logistics to encompass sales, procurement, supply chain, warehousing, product development, manufacturing, and quality control, to develop future state blueprint process maps covering business operations in enterprise platforms.
Execute current state analysis, process maps, future state blueprints, to document current and future state of system processes to align with global models.
Prepare requirement specifications, design documents, test scripts to meet gaps in standard enterprise resource planning (ERP) offerings and test software changes provided to fit gaps.
Create data models and data mapping documents to migrate data from legacy platforms to Infor ERPLn.
Verify integrity of data imported into Infor ERPLn.
Gather requirement specifications for gaps in the standard process.
Create functional specifications for identified gaps along with test plans.
Test software changes according to test plans and pass and fail changes dialogs to perform fixes and corrections.
Collaborate with Logistics Solution Architects (LSA) to understand global processes.
Map and train users on processes.
Support issues in logistic domains.
Utilize Infor ERPLn and ERP products to implement ERP on new and legacy sites and to assist existing sites on Infor ERPLn to leverage capabilities from ERP.

EDUCATION/
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a related field.

What will you do?
A penchant for business development, working out of your own office, you'll meet & engage new and repeat customers in your territory; assessing their needs, you will provide a truly consultative Stonhard solution.
