Carboline is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Intern to work in our RD&I location in St.
Louis, MO.
This intern will work alongside our EH&S Manager, Chemists, and other safety personnel to help support EH&S needs.
Requirements:
This is a paid internship where we are seeking someone who can work 30 - 40 hours per week from May through August.
Essential Functions:
Conducting Safety Audits/Walkthroughs/Reviews. Preparing, Scheduling, and Conducting Safety Training Discussions with Team Leaders & Employees Regarding Various Safety/Health Matters Stocking and Cleaning PPE and First Aid Equipment. Tracking, Filing, and Maintaining Databases of Safety/Health Training Incident Investigations and Corrective Action Plans. Scheduling, Conducting, Participating, and/or Leading Employee Safety Advocates Developing, Maintaining, and Revising Safety and Health Operating Procedures and Lockout/Tagout Procedures.

About the Role:
As a Control & Systems Engineer, you'll bring technical expertise to deliver and support high-tech projects and improvement programs.
Working closely with the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you'll have hands-on involvement in designing, implementing, and optimizing control and software systems across the facility.
You'll be the go-to technical specialist on numerous systems, handling projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive engineering projects from concept to realization within deadlines and budgets
Offer top-notch, safe engineering support across production, quality, R&D, HSE, and IT functions
Develop control systems, troubleshoot, and improve operational efficiency
Work directly on machines and control systems, whether on the factory floor or in-office
Train and mentor colleagues, apprentices, and new team members
Liaise confidently with suppliers to specify or design required goods and services
Ensure compliance with confidentiality protocols to protect intellectual property
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
Relevant qualification in industrial software or control systems engineering (HNC/HND or Degree level)
Proficiency in SCADA systems, particularly with PLC interfaces
Strong experience with Siemens S7 (Simatic Manager & TIA Portal), GEM 80, and AC/DC drive programming
Knowledge of SQL, Access database, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong problem-solving, planning, and organization skills
Ability to work flexibly under pressure, including occasional travel (international travel may be required)
Desirable:
Experience with WinCC Professional or WinCC Advanced
Fluency in a second language

The Role:
I am currently looking for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor to be home based on a full-time permanent basis, the successful individual will be OH qualified.
The role will consist of Triage, Case Management and Pre-Employment Screening and on occasions you may be asked to cover a vaccine clinic.
I am looking for a candidate who comes from a Healthcare background.
You will be working on case management, attendance, fitness for work, requests for OH advice, producing written reports, evaluating medicals and surveillance results, vaccinations, travel health services, ergonomic advice and delivering health promotion to the client’s workforce.
You will provide clinical supervision and support other team members where relevant (such as OH Technicians).
You need to be NMC registered and have a qualification in Occupational Health, meticulous written skills, and attention to detail while being an excellent communicator with a range of stakeholders.
