GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Support R&D engineering by executing experiments, assisting in new product and process development, documenting technical activities, conducting pilot trials, researching new technologies, and contributing to process innovation through data-driven decision-making and prototyping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute various project activities supporting R&D Engineering. Support R&D projects that deliver business results through data-driven decision making.
Work within the R&D team to support new product and process development projects.
Maintain proper documentation of technical and experimental activities.
Execute experiments to evaluate and optimize the performance attributes of various technologies.
Execute pilot equipment trials while capturing and recording data.
Support the process development and validation, specification implementation, and work instruction.
creation of new product designs and processes. Assist with the exploration and research of new technologies in relevant processes for future applications. Support R&D Engineering with conceptualizing new processes to solve specific problems, 3D designing parts, and prototyping these solutions.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Applicant must be Sophomore, Junior, or Senior enrolled in a university, pursuing a 4-year mechanical engineering degree.

Experience with 3D CAD or similar software.

Performs root cause analysis of product and installation failures of construction materials, with supervision. Engages in training activities for proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical laboratory equipment. Maintains project documentation and reports for all conducted laboratory testing. Performs calibration verification activities as needed in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Conducts all work in accordance with laboratory safety and housekeeping guidelines.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Support manufacturing operations through product testing, process improvement, quality assurance, equipment commissioning, operator training, and data management to enhance efficiency and compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test Production and Trial Samples to ensure quality and performance standards are met. Develop and Maintain Databases for test results, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. Assist in the Development of Work Instructions to standardize processes and improve efficiency. Support New Equipment Commissioning, ensuring proper setup, functionality, and integration into production. Provide Operator Training on equipment, procedures, and best practices. Identify and Implement Process Flow Improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Utilize SAP for data entry, tracking, and process management. Assist in Quality Audits, ensuring compliance with standards and identifying areas for improvement. Create and Maintain Colorant Samples and Databases to support production and quality control. Provide Support to Manufacturing Operations as Needed, assisting with troubleshooting, process optimization, and other operational needs.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Applicant must be a Junior or Senior enrolled in a university, pursuing a 4-year chemistry degree.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Holt Engineering is currently working with an innovative PCB manufacturing company based in Fareham, Due to an ever-expanding order book our clients are looking for experienced solderers.
As a solderer, your role will be to solder components onto PCB boards using Through-hole and fine soldering.
Duties will include:
- Following technical drawings and solderer to required.
- Soldering to IPC standards.
- Soldering small components to PCBs.
- Soldering with a microscope at times.
To be a successful solderer you must:
- PCB soldering experience
- Be able to understand technical drawings
- Solder to good standards
- IPC certificates beneficial
- Good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines
For the successful solderer, you will:
- Get a competitive pay structure
- Early finish on Fridays
- Friendly work environment
The working hours are:
- Monday to Thursday 7.30-16.30 and early finish on Fridays 12:30
