Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
Ensure all automation within the business operates efficiently and effectively by carrying out regular inspections and diagnosing faults
Overcome unplanned problems and where possible carry out repairs
Work with other maintenance engineers to design and implement a preventative maintenance plan
Work with specialist equipment, such as programable logic controllers (PLC)
Facilitate installations of new machinery, automation projects and partake in site improvement projects
Carry out all work in line with company Health and safety guidelines

Strong communicator with top-notch presentation skills who can develop and provide training to production personnel on matters concerning formulation, materials handling, processing, and quality procedures. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Leadership role in effort to recertify and reclaim Non-Conforming material.
Works in coordination with QC and R&D to isolate, test and recertify Non-Conforming material that can be repackaged and sold. Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality. Continuously challenging the status quo understood as a day-to-day activity in our operating areas. Proactive problem solving based on statistical analysis of corrective actions / assigned by Engineering Director, Plant Manufacturing Manager, QA, EHS projects. Selection and development of tools and fixtures for improvements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commitment to the Company's Safety and Quality programs.
Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations.
Requirements:
4 years Chemistry, Engineering degree or equivalent experience, minimum 3 years' experience in a CI role. Formal training in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred Green Belt. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.

Operating globally, this Project Manager - Electronics will be based at their UK Centre of Excellence in Kent, joining their dynamic, multidisciplined engineering team working on cutting edge medical and life science devices and instruments.
Key Responsibilities for this Project Manager - Electronics opportunity:
Taking ownership for a project and delivery of its output in a timely manner.
Appropriate management of cross-functional resources.
Ability to manage through competing priorities to ensure the project stays on time and on budget.
Resources to include international strategic supply chain partners.
Obtaining an in-depth technical knowledge of a project and its requirements.
Oversee the management of projects, ensuring they are completed to both company and the client's satisfaction, on time and on budget.
Identify and carrying out preventative action to pull back project overrun.
Generate and update project plans.
Ensure the project follows company procedures and is developed to the correct regulatory frameworks.
Key skills/experience required:
Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
CPM, PMP, or Prince 2 certification (preferred).
Strong understanding of Electronics and Mechanics.
Experience with Validation, Verification, and technical documentation.
Proficient in MS Project or similar tools.
Capable of managing projects from verification to completion.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Experience with ERP systems and process validation.
