The purpose of this role is to build strong business relationships with customers in the independent optical market across the West Midlands & South West region, including the following postcodes: BA, BH, B, BS, CF, DT, EX, GL, HR, NP, SA, SN, SP & TA.
The Regional Lens Account Manager will effectively increase and develop the sales of lens products within the given geographical territory, across the Independent and Lab Channels.
Regional Lens Account Manager - Role
Achieve agreed sales targets for value within specified area
Educate and train all levels of customers' employees within account base on features and benefits of all listed products, generic technical and optical knowledge, and generic sales skills and techniques to improve product mix and overall sales within account base.
Through the use of persuasion and compelling arguments increase sales versus the competition throughout account base
Provide excellent customer service to the account base through regular calls, follow up and ongoing contact to meet customer requirements
Operate within agreed cost budgets for entertainment and expenses through planning the most economical coverage of the territory
Execute joint marketing/local promotions that have been formally agreed to drive sales

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support to the distribution center.

Daily use of copy, fax/scanner, and printers.
Work proficiently within the Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e.
Word, Excel and Outlook) and business software (SAP).
Maintain spreadsheets for tracking data in a variety of reports.
Process all inbound and outbound paperwork daily.
Communicating with Distribution Manager on operational problems.
Provide support for various projects and lean initiatives.
Track daily productivity numbers for all associates on the floor.
Handle all data entry for inbound and outbound shipments for the Fenton DC.
Inventory Management
Correspond with Pacific DC on daily inbound loads of inventory.
Complete all data entry for inbound loads from Pacific DC. Complete all data entry for inbound and outbound loads.
Correspond with the warehouse floor on any inventory errors/issues and perform data entry as needed.
Correspond with the Pacific DC and Pacific Production on inventory needed to complete orders, etc.
Customer Service
Communicating on a daily basis with Customer Service on various shipments that need to leave the Distribution Center.
Sending back orders for changes that need to be made.
Handle inbound calls on product availability, allocations on Hot orders and backorders for on time delivery.
Checking emails frequently for new situations with customers and deliveries to achieve timely solutions.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in the relevant field. Work proficiently within the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel & Outlook) and business software (SAP). Previous experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting is preferred. Ability to calculate and solve basic math equations. Ability to apply principles to solve practical problems. This is a paid internship where we are seeking someone who can work 30 - 40 hours per week from May through August.
Essential Functions:
Work directly with the Engineering Team and learn how to determine the optimal manufacturing methods and process for producing company products and gain hands on real-world experience in a manufacturing environment Additionally, they will learn and understand productivity improvement; LEAN processes, ergonomics, time studies for reducing waste and excess, line balancing, 5S, Kaizen, etc. Work from engineering design documents, prototypes and/or change orders, and analyzing them for produce-ability Working with Plant EH&S personnel to implement environmental or safety directives. • Determine what equipment, tooling, materials, methods of manufacturing (may include make/buy - automation decision) Work with other engineers to coordinate in setting up or changing the manufacturing processes involved with new or revised products. Position Summary:
Carboline is looking for a Procurement Intern to work out of our HQ facility located in St.
Louis, MO.
This position is a support role intended to aid the purchasing agents as they go about interacting with suppliers, supporting plant buyers, forecasting raw materials, resolving invoice issues, sourcing new products and a host of other functions that improve overall operational performance.
This position will also support the Corporate Purchasing Team in Data Collection and Report generation.
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Business-related bachelor's program with at least three completed semesters.
Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.

This position is for a Marketing Content Creation Intern who will work alongside marketing experts at our St.
Louis Headquarters. This person will create strategic content in support of multiple product lines.
