The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region.
Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials
Inspection and evaluation of the property
Preparing roof drawings and sketches
Preparing scope of work documents

Attending sales calls
Pricing patch and repair jobs

Managing Accounts

Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs.

Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions
Coordinating visits with contractors

QA/ QA+ inspections
Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only).
Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof
May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor.
May also perform minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.

Conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs

Are you looking for your next challenge in technical sales? A long-established engineering business is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Technician to support growth across a range of industrial clients.
In this key customer-facing role, youll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and developing client relationships, and providing tailored technical solutions focused on industrial pumps, valves, and associated services.
This includes supporting clients through repairs, overhauls, and system upgrades.
The Role - Sales Technician
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports, proposals, and quotations as a sales Technician
- Conduct site surveys across various industrial environments
- Negotiate contracts, define project scope, and close sales
- Analyse and prepare tenders and costings
- Monitor and report on sales activity and customer engagement
- Maintain accurate records through a CRM system
- Meet sales and activity targets set by the business
- Plan appointments and lead generation activities effectively
- Attend relevant industry trade shows and marketing events as a sales technician
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within pumps or a related engineering sector, ideally as a Sales Technician

- Capable of explaining complex technical information in a clear and engaging way
