We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a dynamic and collaborative team in Leeds.
In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting daily laboratory and manufacturing operations, working in line with established Standard Operating Procedures.
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including routine product testing, precise weighing and blending of materials, and the safe handling of reactive chemicals.
This position is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain real-world laboratory experience in a supportive setting where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are key.
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be encouraged to take initiative, develop new skills, and contribute to the success of our production and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities for Laboratory Technician :
Collecting product samples, performing routine analytical tests, and recording data
Preparing and setting up laboratory and testing equipment each day
Monitoring instruments and meters; adjusting settings as needed to maintain product specifications
Identifying and reporting any equipment or process issues that may affect production
Maintaining precise records of test results and operational activities
Collaborating with production and quality control teams to address any issues quickly and efficiently
Ensuring all laboratory equipment remains in good working order and arranging maintenance when needed
Consistently following all health, safety, and standard operating procedures
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and laboratory operations
Qualifications & Experience required from Laboratory Technician :
A scientific qualification (degree, HND, or HNC) in Chemistry or a related field
Strong attention to detail, especially in measuring and handling chemicals
Good mathematical ability for calculating weights, volumes, and interpreting test data and the ability to work independently and anticipate production needs
Previous experience in a laboratory environment
Prior exposure to working with chemicals or in a chemical processing setting is highly desirable

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).

The Dispenser Service Technician (DST) position's primary function is the installation and maintenance of Euclid Chemical concrete admixture dispensing equipment.
This position is also responsible for calling on current admixture customers routinely, offering them DST services.
Services include air checks, checking operation of dispensing equipment, and assisting with job service.
The DST position covers a respective territory however they position may also be required to travel into other select territories upon request.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field. Ability to visit and evaluate a plant to order the proper dispenser equipment needed to do the job right (such as conduit for electrical, hose lengths, position of dispenser, etc.) Install the dispenser equipment and help assist the customer in matching our dispenser to their plant (such as counts, added products, etc.).
When the install is complete tech is responsible to clean up any mess that was created during the visit. Will be responsible to pick up any equipment in the field that needs to be removed, and returned to a Euclid facility.
Responsible to wash out any tanks immediately upon being returned at the Euclid Chemical plant with the guidance of the plant manager on the waste product. Willingness and ability to restore any used equipment that can be reused. Will be required to do paperwork (such as DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, Daily or Weekly Reports, etc.) The DOT Certifications will be done professionally on Euclid Letterhead and handed to the customer. May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.). Required to order equipment and install that equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation. Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when needed. Assist in state inspections where necessary. Respond to customer issues with those dispensers when needed. Assure that their truck is properly equipped with the necessary parts to fix or repair the equipment.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Travel up to 50% of the time.
Must be willing to spend the night out of town when required. Flexible schedule.
This includes early mornings, late nights and weekends as needed. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Kettle Operator is responsible for processing Tremco Sealants and/or Roofing products by carefully reading and following the process order card.
The operator is responsible for area readiness to produce which includes safety and collection and preparation of materials like pails, drums, and other chemical raw materials.
One batch is complete the operator will test for quality, adjust as needed to assure specification is met by following written standard operating procedures, and then fill product into specified packaging and palletize pails or drums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using control boards, Human Machine Interface (HMI computer touch screen) or semi-automatic equipment.
Draw samples of products, and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and ensure that standards are met.
Use appropriate scales or measurement devices to add materials to the kettle as specified by batch process orders.
Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.
EXPERIENCE: No prior experience is required.

Basic Computer Skills required (Windows Familiarity).
