Technically inclined - experience with CAR BODY WORK, BODYSHOP, or MECHANICAL REPAIR is helpful but NOT essential

Interested in CARS, PAINT WORK, VEHICLE REPAIR, or the AUTOMOTIVE AFTERMARKET and SALES
Able to identify and grow new and existing SALES ACCOUNTS
Comfortable with PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION and explaining technical features
Focused on customer service and building strong client relationships
In possession of a FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE - essential
Sales experience is beneficial but not required - attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn are most important.

The Opportunity

This role holds delegated design authority, provides senior technical leadership, and is accountable for engineering delivery from concept through manufacture, test, installation, commissioning and in-service support.
Key Responsibilities as Head of Engineering - Dreadnought Programmes
Lead and manage all engineering activities across Design, Manufacturing, Assembly, Test, Installation and Commissioning for all programmes
Act as the senior engineering authority and primary technical point of contact for all customers
Provide strong technical leadership to ensure accurate execution of engineering deliverables from concept to service support
Manage and report technical risk, ensuring appropriate governance and sign-off at gated design hold points
Lead engineering teams 20-25 people consisting of Principal, Senior Design and Design Engineers to achieve KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Oversee design of test equipment and test procedures for complex drive systems

Carry out diagnostic analysis, repairs and preventative maintenance.
Deliver customer-facing product support with a professional approach.
Complete PDI inspections to ensure vehicles meet required standards.
Repair equipment and vehicles either in the depot or on-site, following manufacturer specifications and company policies.
Complete all required paperwork accurately - including engineer reports, inspections, calibration checks and job sheets.
Perform mechanical maintenance, testing and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, motors and ancillary equipment.
Experience & Requirements for our HGV Technician
Proven background in auto-electrical fault diagnosis and repair, including use of diagnostic tools.
Direct HGV Technician experience
Hands-on experience working with HGVs and specialist vehicles.
Competent with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
Full UK Driving Licence
City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanical & Electronic Systems (or equivalent) is advantageous

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Responsible for a wide variety of manufacturing and facility maintenance and repairs.
Essential Functions:
Experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems from 24v DC to 480v AC (single and three phase), in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Experience with maintaining and repairing Form Fill and Seal machines (Ilpak and Triangle) 2.
Automation equipment, specifically Fanuc robots, conveyors, bag check weighers, palletizers, wrappers, and carton-bag machines. Experience repairing pumps, chemical bulk storage and mixing tanks and industrial mixers. Perform daily preventative maintenance and repair on facilities and production equipment. Perform system repairs including filters, belts, bearings, and drives. Ability to learn and complete documentation of work performed, including maintaining spare parts inventory in computer-based software. Maintain strong commitment to safety, as well as document daily EPA readings and perform routine safety repairs/inspections.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma 5 years' machine maintenance experience in an Industrial Environment.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in pneumatics and welding a plus.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
