Specific Requirements:
Experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems from 24v DC to 480v AC (single and three phase), in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Experience with maintaining and repairing Form Fill and Seal machines (Ilapak and Triangle) 2.
Automation equipment, specifically Fanuc robots, conveyors, bag check weighers, palletizers, wrappers and carton-bag machines. Experience repairing pumps, chemical bulk storage and mixing tanks and industrial mixers Perform daily preventative maintenance and repair on facilities and production equipment. Perform system repairs including filters, belts, bearings, and drives. Ability to learn and complete documentation of work performed, including maintaining spare parts inventory in computer-based software. Maintain strong commitment to safety, as well as document daily EPA readings and perform routine safety repairs/inspections. Experience in pneumatics and welding a plus. Provides an on-going sales support, training and development to contractors. Function as a direct line of contact to the contractors & distributors, in the designated area, to ensure a consistent working relationship with the existing contractor base, keeping them informed and trained on Rust-Oleum's product line, new products introduced and where to buy. Develops new contractors in the area by training on product systems and their usage. Develops and grows distributor relationships to sell the Rust-Oleum Roof Coatings program. Covering the West of the UK, with a particular focus on the Northwest.
Managing existing customers within the region.

Ideally from a mechanical engineering background with HNC or upwards in mechanical engineering though an apprenticeship or long time served will also be considered.

Machine Part Production: Produce precise machine parts and tooling with lathes, mills, and grinders.Machine Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install new machinery, including:
Pneumatic and hydraulic componentsMachine pipework, cabling, wiring switches, sensors, and motors
Maintenance Program Development: Create and implement a maintenance program that meets all legislative and company requirements.Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, source suppliers, and ensure stock levels.External Contractor Coordination: Organize and oversee work with external contractors.Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications
Required: Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical EngineeringPreferred: Electrical Engineering experience or certification
Experience & Skills
Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar roleSkills: Problem-solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, initiative, and strong organizational abilities
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pmFriday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm20 days holiday plus statutory holidays
