Reading, interpreting and working directly from engineering drawings to ensure that machines are built in-line with specifications
Building, assembling & installing a vast range of technologies onto bespoke automated machinery, including sub-assemblies, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, conveyors, grabbers and many more
Occasionally travelling to customer facilities to install, commission, service and/or repair machinery - nationally and internationally (business class flights on long-haul journeys).
Customers are based on most continents all across the world (Mexico, Dubai & Vietnam are real examples)
Working Hours of the Mechanical Technician:
37.5 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift:
Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30
Friday - 08:00 to 15:15
Overtime is frequently available midweek (2 hours per day) and Saturdays & Sundays (6 hours per day)
Details of the Mechanical Technician position:
Starting Salary: £33,735.00 (£17.30 per hour) - rising with continued service and skill development
Achievable Earnings: £47,229.00 - easily achievable with 2 hours of overtime Monday to Friday (£50K+ easily achievable with weekend overtime and enhanced rates & hours when working at customer facilities)
Holiday Allowance: 33 Days (25 days + public holidays)

Key Responsibilities of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:

Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants must hold a recognised Electrical & Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an Advanced Apprenticeship & or; Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above, City & Guilds in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering/Craft studies, 18th edition etc
