Shift: 2nd Shift - Position offers $1 shift differential
Position Summary:
Responsible for processing outbound / inbound warehouse materials, including paperwork, scanning, skid wrapping, and forklift operation to move materials, the loading and unloading of trucks and general warehouse duties.
Specific Requirements:
Identifies, pulls, counts, stages and ships orders. Process pick-sheets, skid labels, bills of lading documents. Loads and unloads trucks. Immediately cleans and reports any spills, leaks, equipment malfunctions, safety hazard, accidents, near-miss accidents and materials shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor. Assist in hazardous waste handling when needed under the guidance from production management / supervisors or RCRA certified employees.

Housekeeping Specific assigned areas and duties. 6.
Maintain hazardous waste satellite and accumulations areas such that they are compliant with all regulations, including monitoring containment pallets and emptying via proper disposal when necessary as well as respective Satellite and Accumulation Area checklists for compliance. Applies all Carboline coatings to panels for use by customers, sales and R&D for testing purposes as well as for sales aids.
Participates in spray evaluations.
Essential Functions:
• Preparation of panels prior to coating.
Have a good understanding of the basic operation of hand and power tools, abrasive blast cabinet and pin welder.
To include minor maintenance of same. • Have a good understanding of how to operate as well as maintain mixing equipment, airless and conventional spray equipment to apply Carboline products. • Know how to use inspection equipment, surface preparation standards, etc. • Provide documentation for panels which will be tested.
Spray nuclear testing orders upon certification. • Responsible for maintaining a stock of standard panel systems. • Package and ship sample panels. • Understand basic coating technologies so that Carboline coatings can be properly applied and cured for sample panels, evaluations, field work, etc.
Be able to troubleshoot and correct coating and application problems. • Assist the R&D Department in application of new or revised product evaluations, new equipment evaluations, etc.
within capabilities. • Assist in performing application and equipment demonstrations for sales and customer schools or other in-house training on company products or equipment within capabilities. • Responsible for participating in the daily cleaning of the work area. • Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and immediately report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office, emails etc. • Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. • Receives annual training in RCRA Hazardous Waste and Carboline's Contingency Plan and will adhere to this training while performing their job. • Perform additional duties as assigned • Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs

Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds approximately 10% of the time; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, and Acrylics.
Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA (respirator worn 20% of the time).
Able to operate, maintain, and repair equipment which includes handling, moving, and hand/eye coordination (approximately 35% of the time).
The equipment includes but is not limited to: airless pumps, blasting, welding, and power hand tools.

In this role you will be required to cover across all Recycling Sites within the Leicestershire area therefore being able to commute using own vehicle is key.Key duties will include;
Completing HR related tasks (supporting the onboarding process for new starters, undertaking one to ones, return to works, Annual Performance Reviews, intermediate policy processes such as writing and implementing support plans and personal risk assessments, occupational health referrals and undertaking investigations into disciplinary and attendance or poor performance)
Delivery of training through workbooks and / or supporting those completing learning through e-learning
Developing and delivering toolbox talks and other training packages / safety briefings
Drafting of, monitoring and enforcing the Council's safe systems of work and risk assessments for all site operations
Ensuring records for waste movements are accurate and appropriately filed and that waste transfer paperwork is compliant with the sites' Environmental Permit and the Waste Duty of Care
Drafting of processes, monitoring and enforcing the Council's Quality Management System for processes at the RHWS
Effective and efficient stock control of consumables, PPE & Uniform, equipment and fuel
Driving from time to time a Council 3.5ton box van
Handling of intermediate complaints from customers face to face, by telephone and by email.
