Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance is currently searching for a Field Sales Support Specialist in St.
Louis, MO covering the Springfield, IL area.
The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region.
Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers. Developing Business Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials Inspection and evaluation of the property Preparing roof drawings and sketches Preparing scope of work documents Preparing proposals Attending sales calls Pricing patch and repair jobs Providing technical expertise Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs. Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions Coordinating visits with contractors Preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative. QA/ QA+ inspections Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only). Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof
May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor.
May also perform minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.

Conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs Taking photographs Preparing CADD drawings Delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role. Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required. Qualifications: Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards. Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information, e.g.
professional journals and periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence and similar documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, contractors, and architects. Ability to communicate business and technical information (e.g.
information relating to status of projects, remediation plans, and customer concerns) to Sales Representative. Intermediate skills: ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, area, circumference and volume. The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $70,000 and $90,000.

This is a permanent Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant opportunity within a collaborative and expanding finance team, offering strong exposure, hands-on responsibility and clear long-term development.
The business is continuing to invest in its finance function and is hiring two individuals to support ongoing growth.
This role would suit someone currently working as an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant, either actively studying or looking to progress further into a more rounded finance role while supporting Management Accountants and Financial Accountants.
THE ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT / ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
As an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant, you'll support the wider finance team across core transactional and ledger-based accounting activities
Managing the purchase ledger, including processing supplier invoices, statement reconciliations and query resolution
Preparing supplier payment runs and supporting timely and accurate payments
Completing new supplier set-ups and performing supplier anti-fraud and verification checks
Managing the sales ledger, including producing sales invoices, cash allocation and resolving customer queries
Supporting credit control activities and monitoring aged receivables
Performing daily bank reconciliations and investigating reconciling differences
Reconciling credit card transactions and staff expenses in line with company policies
Producing weekly reports across sales ledger, purchase ledger and cash balances
Supporting month-end ledger close, including assisting with month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
Working closely with and supporting the Management Accountant and Financial Accountant to ensure accurate and well-controlled financial records
THE PERSON:
Current experience in an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant role, with experience of either Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger or Accounts Receivable/Sales Ledger or both AP/AR.
Either studying towards, planning to study, or having completed AAT, with a desire to progress onto ACCA or CIMA
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and control
Comfortable using Excel and keen to continue developing systems and reporting skills
Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Proactive, eager to learn and motivated to grow within a developing finance function
Sage experience is advantageous but not essential

Monthly reporting and investigation of KPI's
Monthly review of costs against budget and analysis of variances
Development, review and investigation of KPI variances and performance trends

Working with our BI system and Budgeting system to ensure the accuracy of the information
Working closely with IT and data teams to improve data accuracy, integrity and reporting effectiveness

Attendance at meetings to review business performance

THE PERSON:
Essential
The candidate must be a graduate calibre and ideally Part or Fully Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
Must have experience in a role such as Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner, FP&A Analyst, or similar
Must have 2 years + experience of previous work history within a transactional Finance / Accounts function
An excellent attention to detail is key as well as the ability to identify trends.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Confident, down to earth approach with good communication skills
High level of IT competency
Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work to tight deadlines
