The QA Technical Service Rep is responsible for the timely delivery of services as they relate to the quality assurance of Tremco's installed roofing systems within their respective region.
$20-33/hour (not including prevailing wage)

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
Lead Technician performing roof patch and repair as necessary and determined by the Quality Assurance Group on Tremco Incorporated roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, Single Ply, Fluid Applied, etc.). Estimate material and labor quantities for roof patch and repair. Work with local WTI Field Representatives and/or Supervisors as required or necessary. Provide accurate and timely documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, voicemail, in person) with the customers, sales reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters. Demonstrate working knowledge of all services provided. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the QA Assurance Group.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Prior roofing experience including patch and repair skills Knowledge and ability to use basic tools associated with commercial roofing Knowledge and experience monitoring and maintaining Quality Control Functional computer skills Safety training and OSHA knowledge with a commitment to safety at all times Understanding and ability to manage expenses Planning and organizational skills.
Able to juggle multiple priorities and demonstrate good task management Work independently, as well as in a team environment, to solve problems and delegate assignments Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships Ability to climb up and down interior/exterior ladders to access roofs (minimum of 20 ft) and carry basic hand tools, equipment and/or material up to approx.

The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance and repair on plant manufacturing and facilities equipment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Preheats production equipment for daily startup. Performs daily conditions checks on all operating equipment. Lubricates assigned equipment according to lubrication schedule. Maintains lubricant levels for mixer seal system and strainer ram lubrication system, check pumps % daily maintain grease levels, check pumps % daily. Checks all equipment air filters on a daily basis and replaces as necessary. Checks operation of air compressor and cooling tower daily, notes problems and makes corrections as required. Check monthly with Cooling Water Treatment Technician. Checks operation of algicide feeding system daily and refills as needed. Makes repairs to facilities as needed to include plumbing, heating, and A/C. Performs minor electrical maintenance. Operates maintenance machine tools, performs welding as needed, cutting torch and brazing. Responsible for maintenance shop housekeeping. Follows safe practices in the performance of all duties. Delivers and picks up items used for maintenance needs. Maintain air in line oiler throughout plant when needed lubricates. Performs other miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor. All required job information should be completed promptly via the required tools and resources. Must be familiar with all forms of low slope roofing systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for plant operations including oversight of supervisors and administrative staff.
Plant areas may include: Maintenance, production, shipping, and quality control.
Understand and optimize use of budget, remaining accountable to the plant's financial performance.
Responsible for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
Develops strategies that ensure effective achievement of Lean Manufacturing objectives.
Conducts annual performance evaluations and provides ongoing performance feedback, maintaining clear and timely documentation.
Works with senior management to ensure manufacturing goals are consistent with strategic direction.
Ensure order processing matters are filled to their entirety.
Fulfill compliance reporting and plan yearly maintenance, inspections, audits, and projects.
Optimize inventory and organization, including oversight of parts, supplies and raw materials.
Demonstrates acommitment to diversity in hiring and promotion decisions.
Analyze maintenance status reports and assist with machine troubleshooting, ensuring that all machines meet safety operating standards.
Oversee the plant Health & Safety Program.
Ensure safety standards are understood and met.
Recommend and work in conjunction with Director on plant capital expenditures.
Review and implement new procedures and processes.
Coordinate with Quality Control & R&D on the development of new products and testing protocols.
Arrange outside services and contractors as needed.
Accountable to ensuring appropriate reporting of: Incidents, production concerns, customer inquiries, etc.
Assist with internal troubleshooting/investigating customer complaints and inquiries.
Ensures plant operates within compliance of all legislative, regulatory, safety, and company mandates.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: A minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience required The following is preferred: Previous experience in a Plant Manager role Experience with shift operations
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
SAP (Preferred) Lean Six Sigma (Required) Ability to assess a situation and mediate the issue to ensure a constructive outcome.(Required) Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
(Required) Knowledge of safety, environmental, and workplace regulations.
(Preferred) Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation skills.
(Preferred) Computer Literacy: Ability to apply excel, word, and SAP applications to daily job responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.
