As our Filler/Helper, you're responsible for operating, setting up, changing over, assisting, or tending to machines in order to package paint in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner.

Here's what you can expect every day:
Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.
Tend to or operate machines that package product.
Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.
Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
Secure finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching fastener.
Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels.
Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials to prepare raw products for processing. Rust-Oleum is an equal opportunity employer.

Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.
Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.

Primarily responsible for administering and coordinating the administrative requirements related to sales processes, including but not limited to managing customer data and records, coordinating with multiple departments, material and shipment management, analyzing sales reports, and providing proactive administrative support to sales teams.
Essential Functions
Provides customer service and troubleshooting assistance to sales team and customers.
Reviews and validates proper quote approvals are in place before processing quotes in CRM.
Maintains digital project files and other records.

Receives new orders and validates Purchase Order details against submitted order details, ensuring information is correct prior to order conversion.

Responsible for reviewing and updating backlog, leftover, invoicing, product forecasting, and other management reports as required.
Forecast review and updates to ensure invoicing is captured in appropriate period.
Matches invoices with orders, mails invoices to the customer, and follows up on special billing forms, as required.
Requests for insurance certificates for customers and general contractors.
Logs Contracts to be executed upon receipt and order entry; responsible for ensuring execution prior to project start.
Assesses customized customer correspondence (incoming and outgoing) for required approvals, coordinates approvals and distribution with appropriate team members.
Processes invoices from outside vendors, ensures invoices are allocated to correct project or account and that actual costs do not exceed budget.
Partners with Accounting and Purchasing to set up new vendors.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2+ years of related work experience in sales administration, sales operations, or customer service.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
High sense of urgency and the ability to independently problem solve, prioritize and successfully meet deadlines
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or marketing or the equivalent coursework in a related specialized field
Prior experience working in CRM and ERP systems, and MS Office
Physical Requirements

Prepares and organizes parts for shipment.
Assists with shipping and receiving.

Rail & Highway Operational Responsibilities

Ensure plant, equipment, and access/egress routes are set up safely and in line with standards.
Supervision & Team Leadership

General Summary
The Operations Manager plans, organizes, and directs manufacturing, distribution, and maintenance operations to ensure the most effective return on the company's investment.
This role oversees and manages a variety of facility functions, including administrative staff, production, quality control (QC), and other departments as assigned.
The position is responsible for overall facility performance, including cost management, production methods, quality control, inventory management, and personnel operations.
The Operations Manager ensures a safe and secure workplace through the maintenance of equipment and work areas, addressing material shortages, equipment defects, and inventory accuracy to prevent production or delivery delays.
Additional responsibilities include staffing, interviewing candidates, and addressing personnel issues such as transfers, promotions, and corrective actions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The following represents the core responsibilities of the Operations Manager.

Develop and implement plans and processes to minimize manufacturing costs by effectively utilizing manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Set group and individual accountabilities for problem-solving and cost reduction based on department needs.
Manage spending in accordance with budget requirements and production volume changes.
Establish effective management practices throughout assigned areas of responsibility.
Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee employees to ensure production, shipping, and order targets are met.
Address employee concerns, maintain morale, and promote positive personnel relations in compliance with approved policies.
Interview pre-screened candidates and ensure timely onboarding and orientation for new hires, providing necessary training programs.
Collaborate with other departments and facilities to complete scheduling requirements.
Address material shortages, equipment/machine defects, and the causes of production delays promptly.
Maintain equipment and facility work areas to ensure a safe working environment, acting immediately to resolve safety hazards.
Actively work on improving workplace safety by addressing physical safety issues and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest production methods, products, and management concepts.
Qualifications
Experience and Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisor/management role.
OSHA & Hazmat Training required.
Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills.
