As our Packaging Operator you will package paint and related products by operating, setting up, adjusting, and performing QC checks while tending to machines and hand fills to package paint in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner according to specifications. Primary Responsibilities:
Performs job duties and/or tasks assigned by Supervision.
Job duties particularly include the areas of shipping/receiving, inventory warehouse, grinding, and reactor operation in a manner in which all procedures, rules, and regulations are strictly followed.
Tasks include any needed work effort that appropriately enhances the Twinsburg Facility. Capable of training other Plant Operators in the areas of shipping/receiving, grinding, and reactor operations dependent upon individual experience and proficiency in area of concern. Communicates problems to Supervisors or Plant Manager in a timely and accurate manner. Exhibits team attitude in all aspects of job performance including such things as working with R&D, Quality Control, Maintenance and other Manufacturing personnel to minimize the generation of substandard product as well as the successful introduction of new products into the Facility processes. Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent necessary.
Must have good communication skills with a cooperative and discipline attitude to assure appropriate work ethic.
Requires the ability to lift 60 lbs. Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.

Position Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing at acceptable efficient levels while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Manufacture batches of product in Basket Mill and HSD. Maintain cleanliness of vessel, gates, blade, blade underside, shaft, manufacture lids and storage lids. Utilize various scales as required. Properly transact raw material from inventory utilizing scanners. Relocate material tanks/containers to place of origin. Write off drum heals as required. Perform inventory cycle counts as required. Properly record times, temperatures, and QCT's of batches as required. Comply with all company safety policies. Maintains a clean work environment. Follows all departmental policies. Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must either have forklift certification or have ability to pass forklift certification test. Steel-toed boots, hard hats, and safety glasses (side shields as needed) are required.
A variety of gloves, aprons, respirators, and other PPE are available as needed. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and safety rules. Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and training.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Routinely lifts, carries, and moves raw materials or company products weighing up to 100+ pounds.
Employees may be standing/kneeling/walking on concrete for approximately 90% of the workday.
