Job description
Holt Engineering is working with a dynamic, growing ICP and EV Infrastructure company who are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to support them in their Glasgow Office.
The EV Qualified Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation and inspection of EV charge point projects across the UK.
This role requires a qualified electrician with strong technical knowledge, a high attention to detail and the ability to lead from the front.
You will ensure all installations are delivered in line with BS7671, maintaining excellent quality standards, keeping projects on schedule and within budget, and ensuring a first-class customer experience throughout delivery.

Key responsibilities
- Support EV Project Managers with the planning and allocation of resources for charge point installations
- Manage the day-to-day scheduling of EV installers
- Assist with producing take-off sheets from designs and procuring required electrical installation materials
- Ensure all installations comply with BS7671, using both personal technical competence and established quality processes
- Compile, review and challenge site-specific RAMS and programmes of work
- Carry out health and safety audits and deliver toolbox talks to installation teams on site
- Prepare, review and sign off NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificates
- Assist EV Project Managers in compiling all required handover documentation for completed projects
- Undertake any other reasonable duties in line with the role as requested by the EV Operations Manager

Make all intermediates and finished products by adding specific quantities of certain raw materials and/or intermediates to a batch tank or grinding mill according to a written formula using proper batch making techniques and safe methods.
This position also requires application and monitoring of established quality procedures and methods for production batches.
Compiles, tabulates and summarizes QC data for analysis.
Prepares and offers constructive criticisms relative to variables and deviations from prescribed standards of quality.
Maintains statistical records having to do with quality, nature and causes of defects.
Expedites and follows up changes to allow for prescribed quality standards.
Request raw materials for use in formulas.
Position requires knowledge of batch making techniques, machinery operation, scales and meter use, and formula knowledge.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Weigh and/or measure out quantities of solvents, resins, pigments (or dispersions), and additives into blending tanks or grinding mills according to a batch ticket. Tend mixing or grinding equipment and maintain control over time, heat, mix speed, etc. Upon batch completion, take product sample to QC Lab for QC checks. Check production batches by comparison to standards Make adjustments to batch as necessary Recheck batch after adjustments are made until product is within standard product specifications Use proper analytical tools to compare product to standard specs and to wet and/or dry samples Record results of comparison and record onto batch card Consult with Main Lab chemist on products more than 10% out of product specifications Upon approval of product record data onto Quality Control car and enter information into computer data base Consult QC manual for specific requirements for product analysis of production batches and customers special requirements Calibrate QC equipment as required Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
Sanitation is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment of the Processing facility, surrounding area and equipment.
Reports to the Production supervisor and receives direction concerning sanitation activities.
Perform daily sanitation of all processing lines and mixing rooms.
Ensure food safety and food defense in the plant.
Promotes a safe work environment through knowledge of the sanitation program and commitment to a safe workplace for all.
Ensures that staff are informed of corporate safety requirements and that safety is a priority in day to day functions.
Develops and implements new methods, procedures, and systems to improve quality and food safety performance, determine and implement corrective actions.
Follow best practices for safety, SDS guidelines, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Responsible for filling out daily sanitation logs, performance reports and shift paperwork.
Regularly complete training in methods of improving sanitation processes
Makes certain that all areas are kept clean of waste, debris, and liquids to avoid safety hazards
Ensures that at the end of the shift all documentation pertinent to sanitation.
Maintains effective communications between the Manager and shift supervisors.

Must possess good reading, writing and math skills.
