The Commercial Façade Field Technician actively performs and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property.
They will be responsible for attending safety meetings, complying with governmental regulations, reporting, and investigating accidents, and planning site-specific job safety procedures including:
$21-38/hour (not including prevailing wage)

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend and understand daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project.
Inspect and ensure safety of surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Execution of project tasks with knowledge of expected production rates, ensuring tools and materials are used safely and efficiently to complete the assigned project. Complete the project per the scope or work, design and specification of contract & engineering documents as directed by foreman.
Responsible to aid foreman in tracking and monitoring project inventory. Maintains highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting positive image. Has knowledge/understanding and performs work in compliance with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e.
OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, etc. Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems. Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and use of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Foreman. Understands and executes proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Foreman and/or Commercial Business Manager. Maintains ethical business conduct.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc).
This will involve working with the superintendent or technicians assigned to the project to ensure delivery is on time and within budget, as well as selecting and managing all sub-contractors.
Additional duties will include participating in all proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects.

Responsible for contributing to, validating, and signing off on all proposals and specifications.

Manage key metrics and report on a regular basis or as required. Coordinate work with Program Managers, Sales & Service Support, Customer Management (WTI & Tremco Roofing), and Resource Management. Participate in the Preventive and Corrective Action process with responsibility and authority to: Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to service, process, and quality. Identify and record any service, process, or quality system problems. Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. Verify the implementation of solutions. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. Review all bids received and conduct contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance. Approve Proposals for submission (i.e.
pricing, specification, scope). Direct Project Manager, technicians, and superintendents. Sign-off on project billings. Responsible for change order negotiation and approval.

Document responses from Pre-Bid meeting minutes are documented or audio recorded and compiled into meeting Minutes on the form. Receives and processes Pre-Bid Meeting Agenda and Sign-In form.
Forwards published copies to local Tremco Representative, Superintendent, Facility Contact, and Roofing Subcontractor. Bidding Stage Publishes, approves, and distributes Addendum (where applicable) Receives and reviews bids and agreements
Pre-construction Stage:
Provides established Project Schedule. Assists the Superintendent in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Provides the superintendent with necessary subcontractor information, such as site-specific safety plans, certificates, etc., from the Bid Form prior to the Pre-Construction Meeting. Conducts and processes completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation and distributes to all applicable parties.
Construction Stage:
Daily receipt and review of Daily Inspection forms. Visits job site as necessary. Receive and review Weekly Progress Meeting Minutes, Attend or be involved via conference call. Maintain Project Schedule process updates from the superintendent. Perform site audits as appropriate. Authorize and generate Change Orders as required. Authorize subcontractor payments. Authorize Customer billing. Assist the Superintendent with any problems during construction. WTI Foreman is responsible for the oversite and performance of safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business.
Safety is our number one priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project.
As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the WTI Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI Projects assigned within their respective region.
It is the responsibility of the WTI Foreman Technician to deliver timely service to all our WTI customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI Crew.
Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project.
This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss the scope of work and daily tasks The customer pre-arrives, upon arrival, and after the day's work WTI Supervisor on schedule changes, project and crew updates, etc Efficient project management will include managing team start and end times and production rates and ensuring tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently complete the assigned project.
Complete the project per the scope of work or specification.
The WTI Foreman will complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site.
Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep, and information will be sent daily on the project status.
These items will include detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases are all recorded daily.
Ensure that all WTI Field Reps will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer.
The Field Resource Foreman is responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensuring Quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely.
Per pricing procedures, review each field service project over $5,000 for pricing accuracy.
Submit all projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor prior to submitting to the Sales Rep or customer. Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Resource Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with the WTI Field Resource Supervisor and Human Resources as needed.
Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.

Excellent working knowledge of Computer Aided Design modelling concepts and software proficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D part modeling, drawing, and assembly creation of the mechanical components Experience working with tooling manufacturers both domestically and internationally. Manage any schedule interruptions due to RM issues. Responsible for properly printing and posting all batch tickets. MTO/MTS status of finished goods at all plants, work with shipping and customer service to clarify status. Reviews and validates total demand requirements for product batches for optimal batch size and proper warehouse allocation. Responds to informal product requests from proper approval sources for batch priorities and visibilities. Determines manufacturing resource requirement and schedules resources for optimal utilization. Reviews resource constraints (i.e., materials, labor equipment, etc.) and adjusts production schedule accordingly. Assigns material to be reworked as available and within specifications, if requested. Answers questions regarding production status for orders for the Customer Service department.
Notifies customer service if schedule is modified and affects customer delivery dates. Participates in and works on special projects. Provides production reporting to VP of Operations and Plant Managers. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
