Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive medical assessments, diagnostics, and management for children with developmental, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Work closely with families, schools, and social services to ensure integrated, holistic care for vulnerable children.
Lead and participate in clinics, including those for children with complex needs, coordinating multi-disciplinary care plans.
Act as a key advocate for children's health, supporting early intervention, prevention, and health promotion within the community.
Collaborate with a broad range of healthcare professionals, including therapists, nurses, and mental health specialists, to deliver child-centred care.
Requirements:
Qualified Paediatrician with full GMC registration and licence to practise.
Significant experience in community paediatrics, developmental paediatrics, or similar specialisations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering family-centred care.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in line with NHS standards.
