The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes within the plant to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production.
This role involves analyzing, improving, and troubleshooting production processes, leading process optimization initiatives, and ensuring that operations are in compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Optimize existing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce production costs, and minimize waste. Design and implement new manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality. Conduct process simulations and provide recommendations for process changes based on data analysis and best practices. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and other departments to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Prepare reports and provide data-driven recommendations for process enhancements or equipment upgrades. Ensure all processes comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Collaborate with production, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams to align process improvements with overall plant objectives. Provide technical guidance and support to plant staff to ensure adherence to process standards and troubleshooting methods. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, or equipment that can improve process efficiency or product quality. Assist in the integration of new technologies or processes into existing plant operations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data to make process improvements. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and control systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Proficient in using software tools for process simulation, data analysis, and reporting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with team members, management, and external partners. Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications.

You Will Be Responsible For:
* Preparing and coating metal surfaces to meet C3-C5 corrosion protection standards.
* Operating a variety of spray equipment, including airless, air-assisted airless, and conventional pressure pot systems.
* Mixing and applying two-pack paints, such as epoxy primers, with precision and care.
* Carrying out surface preparation, masking, and finishing tasks to achieve exacting results.
* Inspecting finished coatings to ensure they meet all required specifications.
* Maintaining a clean and safe workspace in line with health and safety guidelines.
What We Are Looking For:
* Previously worked as an Industrial Painter, Industrial Spray Painter, Spray Painter, Paint Sprayer, Industrial Coatings Technician, Paint Technician, Powder Coater, Painter, Blaster Painter, Metal Finisher or in a similar role.
* Proven experience within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
* Ideally be skilled in airless, air-assisted airless, and pressure pot spray techniques.
* Strong understanding of two-pack paint systems, including epoxy primers.
* Skilled in applying coatings suitable for C3-C5 corrosion environments.
* Ability to interpret and work accurately from technical specifications.
Shift:
* Monday to Thursday: 1:30pm to 10:30pm
* Friday: From 11am to 5pm

Category Strategy

JOB DESCRIPTION
DAP is looking to hire a Purchasing Manager on a contract basis. Provide procurement category leadership for DAP's contract manufacturing, finished good spend and inbound supplier Logistics
Responsibilities
Category Strategy
Develop, document, communicate & maintain category strategies for responsible spend areas.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including DLT, Marketing, R&D, & RPM Center Led Procurement, to ensure strategies are aligned to DAP & RPM objectives
Category Management
Build category strategy to include savings projects, supplier optimization, specification optimization, demand management and other key levers.
Drive down total cost of ownership, improve cash flow, improve supplier performance & identify new partners.
New Product Development
Partner with stakeholders in DAP New Product Development projects requiring 3rd party partners.
Develop a robust supply base to support New Product Development, in partnership with Marketing & R&D.
Reporting
Maintain all necessary reporting to support Procurement leadership, RPM Center Led Procurement, Finance, and others.
Ensure compliance to all appropriate policies, procedures & regulations.
Other
Ensure timely entry/update of data changes in ERP system (SAP Purchase Info Record), including price, terms, vendor, and commodity data.
Summarize price, terms, and vendor changes on a regular basis to ensure ready access to current information.
Investigate discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices with Accounts Payable and Cost Accounting.
Approve payment of invoices in question, coordinate (from Purchasing perspective) artwork changes with packaging suppliers, plants, and Marketing.
Maintain purchase history data to include generating SAP based queries for PPV Reports, etc.
Maintain commodity price files and comparative pricing history with suppliers.
Assist in developing standard costs for annual budget review.
Maintain packaging commodity files.
Maintain packaging specifications with Marketing and raw material specifications with R&D.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain deep knowledge on the commodity market affecting the category
Requirements
CPM Purchasing Certificate. Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering, or Business Management. 3 to 5+ years of strategic and in-depth, hand-on purchasing experience Sound knowledge of general office practices and procedures, preferably in a manufacturing or purchasing environment.
Basic computer skills (AS400 and PC based) with capability of working with SAP, thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite, including extensive experience with Excel, and Lotus Notes. Good communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external supplier contacts.
Ability to generate complex spreadsheets and detailed reports to communicate pricing trends/market information

The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations of the production area for designated shift.

3-5 years' experience in required field.
