Synergi are looking for a Controls Engineer to work for a leading food manufacturer in North London with strong electrical skills.
You will be responsible for control systems within workshops, plant rooms and production environments.
Your primary goal will be to ensure that processes and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably.
Duties would include:
Health & Safety
Meet all personal and role responsibilities as required under the company health and safety at work policy
Manpower, Machinery & Procedures
Display a clear shop floor focus - 95% time on the shop floor building relationships with production seeking issues before they arise.
Using your dual skilled approach, ensure all reactive and proactive maintenance is completed ‘Right First Time' (RFT) and in a timely manner
Experience and Skills will include:
Training and coaching of Engineers to an agreed working knowledge in PLC / control systems to ensure they have the required competency and capability to support production performance
Drive a proactive Engineering Continuous Improvement culture cross-functionally.
Through contributing to the improvement and development of manufacturing hardware & software activities
Ensure supplier contract content & supplier relationship is maintained, and supplier effectiveness is reviewed.
Electrical skills will include a full diagnostic ability in fault finding of all electrical systems up to and including PLC level, with experience of Siemens S7 preferred
Full ability to understand electrical diagrams is a necessity.
Overtime and call out rates will be applicable

Tremco Field Safety Engineer
General Purpose:
Under the direction of the Assistant Safety Director, the Field Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing support and safety oversight to regional Roofing and Weatherproofing Technologies field employees (including but not limited to Sales, Roofing Advisors, CSS, Field Resource Representatives, and leadership), ensuring site compliance with corporate and client safety standards, as well as ensuring site safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations.
This position will provide supervision and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements of jobsites.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide support to projects by maintaining a visible presence and conducting site visits to perform safety audits and safety process audits (e.g., safety document evaluation/compliance)

* Enforce all Federal, State, local, owner and Tremco regulations throughout all Roofing regional projects. Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately per the Tremco Incident Notification Policy. Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed. Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field. Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Occupational Health & Safety preferred) or 5+ Years of Construction experience with high school diploma. Minimum of two years of construction safety field experience required. OSHA 10- and 30-hour certification required. Knowledge of the 1926 OSHA Regulations. Working Knowledge on how to develop, implement, and audit a Daily Task Analysis for Employees and Subcontractors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
List the job's essential or most important functions and responsibilities of the Safety Service Representative (SSR).
Include all important aspects of the job - whether performed daily, weekly, monthly, or annually; and any that occur at irregular intervals. Integrate safety into the roofing traditional sale process, WTI GC and GS sale processes. Evaluate and develop qualified leads and inspection assessments/reports for OSHA compliance to support the roofing sales representatives with the most current, up-to-date product selection, pricing, and installation processes. Provide product quotes for property owners, sales representatives, Tremco contractors, WTI construction/project managers, WTI field management, or any others as directed. Responsible for contributing to, validating, and signing off on all proposals and specifications.
