GENERAL SUMMARY
Assist with operating filling line and box completed product.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Maintain supplies for filling line, such as empty cans, boxes, etc. Assist operator in changing filing line components from run to run Check application of lids on containers and manually tighten any loose lids Print and apply labeling to filled boxes Box and palletize finished product Complete tracking forms and attach to pallets Move completed pallets to shipping staging areas

Position Summary:
Dudick, a brand of Carboline is seeking Production Operator in Streetsboro, OH.
We are seeking individuals to help to ensure the quality of our products, safety of the facility and coordination of all plant operations in order to help Carboline reach the best possible performance targets.
Job Duties:
Stack finished goods correctly and quickly to keep up with the production line. Operates the bagging machine, controller, and line conveyors and understands their designs. Participate in the Quality Process by monitoring bag weights, stacking and labeling bags correctly.
Part of this process includes verifying that each bag is filled properly and is the correct weight and taking samples as needed for material testing. Dump raw material into a mixer as needed. Takes samples of material for testing. Operate the bagging machine, controller and line conveyors, and understand their design. Maintain a clean work area and assist in the end of shift cleaning. Performs all other duties as assigned by Crew Leader, Supervisor, or Plant Manager.

Rags are watered down nightly in Plant #1. Load trash truck and sort skids. Clean all Lunch and Locker rooms in the manufacturing area. Keep up to Date inventory of cleaning supplies.
Order as needed. Run vacuum hoses in Plant #2 in designated areas. Do whatever cleaning inside or outside that is required. Maintain a clean work area. Safely operate all equipment associated with a given process.
Use prescribed safety equipment, when performing duties. Communicate any variations/problems to appropriate Management Personnel.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Have the ability to read, write, and speak English and to understand simple math.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must pass lift truck operator's test.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Reach/High Lift Operator you will be expected to receive, store, and distribute material, equipment, and products within the establishment by performing the following on a daily basis: Read orders to determine what products are to be pulled and put on pallets. Receive incoming materials, verifying amount received against packing slip, manifests, invoices or orders and noting any shortages. Prepare product/materials for shipment- supporting the continuous retrieving of material and staging at designated locations along the production line. Record shipment data- including weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for recordkeeping purposes. Support maintenance and organization of warehouse - including cleanliness and housekeeping. Partake in inventory records management- noting stock received and dispersed. Support security of the warehouse and inventory- letting only authorized personnel in warehouse area. Communicate with supervisors on any problems or issues that may arise such as damages, shortages or nonconformance to specifications- escalating further as required to management. Sort and place products and materials on racks, shelves and/or in bins according to product code. Open crates and other containers. Load trucks Perform all duties in accordance with Health and Safety Protocols and company policies.
Qualifications and Previous Experience:
High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year previous experience/certification for sit down forklift, stand up forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack- and ability to demonstrate proficiency on equipment. IT Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages- ability to maintain inventory records electronically. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

The operator will organize the area, collect materials such as pails, cans, cartridges or films, and set up the filling and packaging equipment.
Responsibilities include gathering required labels and casing materials.
Production Order card must be read and followed exactly as to correct packaging including labeling of cans and cases, etc.
Operator is responsible to report correct counts of production for the shift and report downtime information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Neatly assemble and place all required materials from the fill card to be used in their appropriate location throughout the shift. Read and follow filling procedures to package material into cartridges, chubs, or one, two and five-gallon units. Follow and meet the established production schedules. Properly use the filling equipment and maintain cleanliness of the work area following written standard operating procedures. Assist in the waste segregation and recycling program. Communicate written and verbal information between the Foreman and Production Manager. Use appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety regulations. Track progress throughout assigned shift by completing overall equipment effectiveness documents.
EDUCATION:
No high school diploma required.
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Forklift certification preferred, or willing to obtain.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Basic computer skills required (Windows familiarity). LEAN and VFM (Visual Factory Management) skills and/or willingness to train. Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
