The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant.
The Process Engineer will determine which equipment in the plant is most suited to make new products and what modifications may be necessary for such production to successfully occur. Over the next two years, the Tremco Corsicana facility will design, construct, and commission a new reactor.
This new major plant expansion will introduce new production capabilities to the Corsicana facility and is expected to serve as a model project for further plant modernization efforts.

In addition to supporting new products and plant expansions, this individual will also manage and optimize existing processes throughout the plant with the goals of maximizing yield and minimizing batch cycle times. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Safety The Process Engineer will actively participate in process safety reviews, and process hazards analysis as the technical representative. Must understand the hazards of the raw materials, processes, and products in order to develop a safe manufacturing process. Performs systems analysis, design, configuration, and programming tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion and special reporting requirements, etc. Advises users as to the applicability of various alternatives to meet the specified requirements, such as: SAP baseline functionality & reporting, specialized configuration, extracts to PC-based analysis tools, custom report-writing and report development, complimentary software packages, and or changes to business processes. Designs and assists users in the design and documentation of business processes and procedures, the development of training materials, and the delivery of training, etc.
Performs thorough testing of all new and revised system functions and reporting.
Performs quality assurance reviews of procedural documentation and training materials. Acts as a team leader or group leader for projects / tasks established within a functional area, such as: sales & distribution, finance & accounting, or manufacturing.
Organizes and leads various user group forums to address issue management, to field & manage enhancements requests, and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas among users within a given functional area of the business operation.

Essential Functions
Cycle counting and maintaining inventory of Mailroom distribution, including literature, promotional items, sales tools and supplies. Count / box /label/stock promo items and literature. Assist with shipping (knowledge of FedEx and UPS), receiving and delivering packages. Support EH&S and Operations on special projects and mailings including managing labels and distribution. Assemble and ship sales tools (Design Notebooks), sales kits, EH&S tools, and company mailings (marketing product launches, trip, tradeshow and EH&S). Supports Stonhard and RPM PCG facility and departments - stocking of kitchens (coffee supplies) and oversees lounges and meeting rooms as needed and special requests. Use mailroom equipment - postage meter, laminator, and drill for sales tools. Support tradeshow program, packing and shipping materials. Back-up courier between Maple Shade and Cherry Hill campuses, Post Office and special requests.
