Under general supervision, the Product Manager is responsible for managing assigned product families and leads the Company's Product Development process.

Set product vision, strategy, roadmap and feature definition of new and existing products.
Work with the Sales and Marketing to create the products position in the marketplace; define go-to-market strategies, create a consistent message, and product promotions.
Manage the entire product portfolio, time-integrated plans for product introduction and product life cycles from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Maintain the PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) report for use in decision making related to product development, forecasting, management review/metrics, creating promotions, and production planning.
Assist with new product pricing and annual product pricing.
Key contributor to multidisciplinary teams as it relates to current products.
Responsible for benchmarking products against the competition (SWOT
Gather emotional intelligence by working with Customers, Sales Partners, and Legend Brands' associates to gather feedback on current product offerings by the competition.
Manage key objectives for product line and business against strategic goals and initiatives.
Manage transition planning with Operations.
Develop and manage strategic plans, operational plans and activities, product and applications planning for the new markets.
Provide new product information to the organization.
Train sales associates on market information, plans, and tactics.
Coordinate market research with Marketing.
Responsible for coordinating new product research with Product Development, Marketing, and Sales.
Coordinate with all groups/departments to ensure that the needs of the marketplace, distribution channel and Legend Brands associates are met.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration required.
Product Manager II
This is the 2nd level of the Product Manager series and is required to have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience and working knowledge and competent demonstration of the following:
Experience bringing successful new products to market.
Voice of the Customer development.
Buyer Personas.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Make all intermediates and finished products by adding specific quantities of certain raw materials and/or intermediates to a batch tank or grinding mill according to a written formula using proper batch making techniques and safe methods.
This position also requires application and monitoring of established quality procedures and methods for production batches.
Compiles, tabulates and summarizes QC data for analysis.
Prepares and offers constructive criticisms relative to variables and deviations from prescribed standards of quality.
Maintains statistical records having to do with quality, nature and causes of defects.
Expedites and follows up changes to allow for prescribed quality standards.
Request raw materials for use in formulas.
Position requires knowledge of batch making techniques, machinery operation, scales and meter use, and formula knowledge.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Weigh and/or measure out quantities of solvents, resins, pigments (or dispersions), and additives into blending tanks or grinding mills according to a batch ticket. Tend mixing or grinding equipment and maintain control over time, heat, mix speed, etc. Upon batch completion, take product sample to QC Lab for QC checks. Check production batches by comparison to standards Make adjustments to batch as necessary Recheck batch after adjustments are made until product is within standard product specifications Use proper analytical tools to compare product to standard specs and to wet and/or dry samples Record results of comparison and record onto batch card Consult with Main Lab chemist on products more than 10% out of product specifications Upon approval of product record data onto Quality Control car and enter information into computer data base Consult QC manual for specific requirements for product analysis of production batches and customers special requirements Calibrate QC equipment as required Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer and the WTI Crew.

The Certified Chemical Operator is responsible for processing and filling products using multiple different types of packaging machines and mixing vessels.
The Certified Chemical Operator will organize the area, collect materials such as pails, cans, cartridges or films, and set up the filling and batch making equipment.
Responsibility includes gathering required raw materials filling and replenishment of day tanks, labels, and casing materials.
Production order card must be followed exactly as to correct packaging including labeling of cans and cases, etc.
The Certified Chemical Operator is responsible for reporting correct counts of production for the shift and downtime information.
