Summary:
Carboline Global, Inc is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our production team at our manufacturing in Lake Charles, LA.
We are seeking individuals with strong leadership to ensure the quality of our products, safety of the facility, and coordination of all plant production in order to reach the best possible performance targets.
This individual will be responsible for manufacturing product at acceptably efficient levels, meeting production schedules, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining employee morale, managing employee schedules, and any employee relations issues.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
May have to occasionally travel to other facilities or training events.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.
Desired Qualification:
Strong Excel and Microsoft skill set.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Green Belt.
2-year college degree.
Union background a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lifts, carries, and moves raw materials or company products weighing up to 100+ pounds..
Exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
(Personal protective equipment would be utilized.)
Standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 75% of workday.
May be required to operate fork-lift.
Essential Functions:
Enforce safety regulations, investigate accidents, complete accident reports as required and eliminate potential and actual safety hazards.
Maintain a complete understanding of emergency response plans in the event of spills or other similar disasters.
Must adhere to the specific facilities safety process and procedures and follow all PPE requirements.
Report all safety injuries and incidents to your supervisor and EH&S department immediately.
Ensure production quality expectations are met.
Responsible for understanding all aspects of production schedule.
Understand shift production requirements and hold daily meetings to share information with direct reports.
Assign employees to specific work stations and tasks.
Advise management of equipment and staffing requirements.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Interface with other supervisors on all operations, staffing, and miscellaneous issues.
Run daily cycle counts.
Input inventory transactions and monitor LN for accuracy.
Responsible for physical inventory, directs cycle counting, and full physical inventories when required.
Assure the following shift is properly stocked with supplies and that materials are in sufficient quantities on the production floor to assure a smooth start-up.
Responsible for ensuring ISO standards and procedures are followed.
Review and approve time card hours in the timekeeping system by 8:30am every Monday morning.
Communicate improper equipment operation or downtime to maintenance and coordinate required repairs.
Perform annual evaluations and administer training for production employees.
Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary.
Secure and lock facility when applicable.
Enforce all company policies and regulations.
Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure.
May be required to train and certify employees on proper use of forklifts.
Perform additional duties as assigned

Below are the available shift schedules:
1st Shift (Monday to Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

3rd Shift (Friday to Sunday from 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Overtime is available/required.
Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week!
Responsibilities:
Operates a variety of packaging and filling lines including: placing of packaging on the line, monitoring the filling operation, packing-off finished product, performing quality checks and assisting in the cleaning and changeover of the line.
Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurate.
Utilize RF scanner and SAP system.
Maintain production logs to accurately record downtime/issues.
Completes all paperwork accurately.
Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work area.
Abides by all departmental and plant safety rules.
Works in other areas as required by business needs.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours at a time
Ability to climb steps/ladders
Must wear required PPE at all times throughout the shift (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

Operating out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, they currently employ over 120 people and produce bespoke high-end products for use in a variety of industries and types of facilities.This employer is based in LEEDS, meaning that the successful Product Quality Engineer will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns and cities including Bradford, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Bingley and Keighley.Key Responsibilities of the Product Quality Engineer will include:
Develop, implement and maintain in process quality control plans and ISO 9001 aligned procedures across all major transformer manufacturing stages, ensuring full compliance with customer specifications.
Conduct inspections, tests and audits to detect non conformities early, driving timely corrective actions and maintaining robust product quality standards.
Lead structured root cause analysis using 8D, Ishikawa, MSA, SPC and FMEA, ensuring the identification of systemic issues and validation of long term corrective actions.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues, improve process capability, reduce scrap/rework and support qualification of new materials and processes.
Analyse engineering drawings, technical data and quality KPIs to identify trends, guide improvements and contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), maintain all quality documentation, ensure full material traceability and assist with customer audits, third party inspections and certification activities.
Work with Design Engineering on manufacturability, provide quality training to production teams, and support supplier investigations and improvements to ensure consistent material and component conformity.
For the Product Quality Engineer, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:
Apprenticeship, HND, Degree or equivalent technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related manufacturing discipline.
3-5 years' quality engineering experience within mechanical/electrical manufacturing
Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001 and practical experience with quality management systems.
Proficient in structured problem solving tools such as FMEA, 8D, SPC, MSA and root cause analysis.
Strong analytical ability with proven experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Salary and benefits:
Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
Flexible working hours (37.5 Hours per week)
4-Hour minimum day (2hrsxAM & 2xhrsPM)
Monday to Thursday - 08:15am to 17:00pm
Friday - 08:15am to 12:45pm
33 days Annual Leave including Bank Holidays
10% Combined Pension

Welding Coordinator Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all welding activities, processes and procedures fully comply with ISO 3834 requirements, supporting safe, compliant and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Working a 4 day working week (Mon - Thurs, 6am - 4.15pm)
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Review technical and contractual welding requirements
Manage and oversee subcontract welding activities
Qualify welding procedures, welders and welding operators
Develop, review and maintain Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Ensure suitability, maintenance and calibration of welding equipment
Support production planning activities relating to welding operations
Select, control and ensure suitability of materials and welding consumables
Coordinate inspection and testing activities before, during and after welding
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Needed of the Welding Coordinator:
The role requires experience up to and including Execution Class 2 of BS EN 1090-1, with a strong understanding of:
Welding procedures and welding health & safety
CSWIP Qualification
Welding process technologies including MAG, MMA, TIG and SAW
Welding metallurgy of carbon steel and stainless steel (aluminium desirable)
Welding design principles and welding symbols
Welding defects, including root cause analysis, preventative measures and remedial actions
Inspection techniques, including visual inspection, NDT and destructive testing
PWPS, WPQR and WPS - formulation, certification and interpretation
Welder Qualification Test Certification (WQTC)
Welding quality systems and standards, including compliance with BS EN 1090, EN ISO 3834, and implementation of a Factory Production Control (FPC) system
