For this Test & Validation Engineer job you will be responsible for the development of high quality, high demand products sold into a regulated environment and supporting the product design throughout its life, making continuous improvements to enhance product value.
Main responsibilities for this Test & Validation Engineer job include working with colleagues in R&D and Manufacturing to sustain existing manufacturing activities, and introduce new manufacturing capabilities for existing product and for New Product Introductions.
The Test & Validation Engineer, will be involved in the following:
Managing test facilities
Oversee the training and operation of the test facilities by other users
Support NPI/Quality in the final testing and approval of production units
Generation test plans and test procedures and execution of product tests; ensuring all findings are properly recorded and communicated
Design, development & implementation and/or configuration of test equipment for bespoke testing
Execution of physical tests in support of development validation and pre-submission requirements
The skills/experience needed for this Test & Validation Engineer job are:
Hands on practical experience in product testing and prototype manufacture
Experienced in preparation of test documentation and report preparation
Understanding of robust test plan generation, including design of experiments
Positive “can do“ attitude and an eye for detail
Experienced with CAD
