JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Packaging Engineer is responsible for project management of packaging initiatives on cross-functional teams that support Brand Marketing new product development and continuous quality and cost improvement projects.
This position reports to the Director Packaging Engineering and will support the team function in driving the development and implementation of new or improved packaging processes, quality assurance and cost controls of packaging design and materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop new packaging designs and specifications through collaboration with cross functional project teams to meet internal and external customer requirements. Develop ideas for packaging innovation, quality improvements, cost savings, and sustainability that are relevant to the business. Participate as an active member of cross-functional business teams comprised of individuals from a variety of disciplines, including Product Management, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Sourcing, and Purchasing. Design, coordinate, and complete performance and compatibility testing in support of packaging component changes at both internal manufacturing and external contract manufacturing sites Works in conjunction with and is a resource for Sourcing Managers, Purchasing, Manufacturing Plants, Quality and Distribution Centers to ensure successful testing protocols and plant trials on packaging materials. Collaborates with packaging material vendors to develop, establish and implement production packaging material specifications. Maintain awareness of technical trends and developments in the packaging industry. Understand and ensure packaging meets UN, DOT and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors in Packaging Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of packaging development and project management experience preferably within CPG industry working with cross-functional teams Experience with packaging materials capabilities and equipment along with physical and structure package testing procedures Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Must have the ability effectively communicate with cross-functional business partners. Ability to progress multiple projects concurrently. SAP preferred but not required.

Design to incorporate Lean principles to improve reliability, ease of use & maintenance, minimize changeover times, and to minimize production losses. Construction Management - Manage contractors, technicians, skilled trades, and internal resources to safely install and startup manufacturing systems.
This includes working with the plant operational teams on training, standard operating procedures, and identification of spare parts. - Regular communication with senior management, directors and key customers, and often helping to support development of bids, proposals and acquisition of new business.
- Take a lead role in developing or enhancing technology within the business, providing subject matter expertise for technology areas and apply these to R&D development activities or projects.
- Take technical leadership of multi-disciplined projects, with ability to foster a culture a systematic approach.
- Take a line management supporting role to support other engineers as part of a smaller sub team overseeing development, training and support needs.
Key Skills & Experience for the Principal Electronics Engineer:
- Strong degree in a related discipline accredited by the IET.
- Typically, 10 years relevant experience expected.
- Experience of leading and supervising projects or people.
- Solid all-round theoretical and practical understanding of electronics designs.
- Ability to complete analysis-based activities i.e.
(circuit emulation, performance, or power budgets).
- Ability to highlight key project risks, schedules, mitigations and identify critical design activities.
- Overall awareness of the full project lifecycle ranging from bids through to continuing customer support.
- A proven track record of innovation-based approaches to all aspects of engineering/leadership.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Leicestershire area.

There are both day shifts (9am-5pm) and double day shifts available (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm)
Key Duties and Responsibilities Your duties as the Maintenance Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with environmental and HS&E legislation.

Support the manufacturing team with completion of Planned & Unplanned maintenance activities
3.

As a Aftersales Coordinator you will be:
- Responding to incoming aftersales and warranty requests
- Logging and maintaining a detailed tracker of all support requests & spare parts orders
- Preparing costings, quotations and invoices
- Using initiative to rapidly resolve problems in an efficient manner, often working under tight timescales.
- Coordinating refit projects, including shipping logistics, import/export of vessels
- Off-site works whilst liaising with and updating clients' order progress
- Planning of works in collaboration with the Production team, allocating labour, estimating work content, and creating quotations
- Arranging all travel bookings and logistics for Aftersales visits

To be a successful Aftersales Coordinator:

- Experience in sales, negotiations, and quoting works
- Experience with ERP software (ideally Sage 200)
- Experience working in a client-facing role
- Strong knowledge of the marine sector
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
