General Purpose of Job:
The Buyer Planner Jr is responsible for creation of PFR product forecast at the SKU level, the translation of the forecast into a purchase plan/schedule considering business objectives established for customer service levels, inventory investment, and factory efficiency targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans and schedules deliveries and inventory while keeping lead-time & space constraints in mind Procures purchased materials within parameters of lead times, eoq's, etc. Creates purchase orders and/or converts planned orders in SAP Arranges for cycle counts of both raw material and finished products, as requested Changes delivery schedules as needed, to meet customer demand Enters P.O.'s and handle Distribution/Traffic aspects of direct ship trade goods from vendors to customers Creates & posts deliveries & P.O.'s for Total Logistics (TLOG) Files Process Orders and Shipped Orders Creates and updates Product & SKU forecasts Interfaces with Customer Service, Shop Floor, Plant Supervisors, Managers, Technical Staff, and Purchasing personnel on production priorities & supply issues Formulates workarounds when necessary Analyzes MRP & MPS requirements & performs related planning duties Maintains appropriate levels of finished goods with respect to safety stock & budget levels Arranges for cycle counts of both raw materials & finished goods, as requested, to maintain integrity of inventory balances Analyzes and maintains safety stock and lead times in SAP Performs other duties, as assigned
Education:

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for an individual to fill a Batch Maker position at our manufacturing plant in Medina, Ohio.
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
Handles batch making responsibilities in all departments
Trained to make all formulations i.e.
Roof coating, Latex, and Solvent departments
Responsible for housekeeping in the work area
Reports raw material/equipment needs to Production Manager
Helps maintain inventory levels/cycle counts
Fills batches according to need i.e.
1's, 5's, 55's or totes (domestic or export)
Operates tow motor
Shop floor reporting
Submit a batch sample to QC lab for approval and retain before filling
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
Computer literacy is required, a basic understanding of SAP is helpful.
Able to work independently in a team-based lean/six sigma environment and contribute to the team's overall success.
Preferred background in the Chemical Industry with batch-making experience.
Demonstrated safe work record
Demonstrated reliable attendance

Euclid Chemical is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team in Lafayette, GA.
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for providing a high level supervision in all areas of production, including leadership in areas of safety and training, in the Lafayette facility.

Provides supervision to produce quality products by following established procedures Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system Sets the scheduled production requirements in collaboration with Managers and supervisors Conducts the training of employees Maintains a safe and clean workplace Conducts and or directs plant personnel in production planning and other related activities Conducts and or directs plant personnel in loading and unloading operations Conducts and or directs execution of inventory control functions Plan for the procurement of raw materials Conducts data entry functions related to orders, inventory control, production and purchasing as required Conducts and or directs the maintenance of plant buildings and grounds Monitors adherence to safety procedures Coordinate customer service with production Promote production activity to meet schedule demands Assist in translation and communication between managers and hourly workforce
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work the hours of 3:30pm - 12:00am MF
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
5 years or more of manufacturing experience. High school diploma or GED
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Safety first mindset Independence, drive, and a self-starter Attention to detail Alertness must be high working in a manufacturing setting and around operating equipment. Troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) critical.
