GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Process Engineer (Jr) provides engineering support to the assigned program and/or area to ensure the product is processed in accordance with customer and division quality requirements while maintaining production flow.
Charged with developing and maintaining systems to assure that all products manufactured by the plant meet customer specifications and achieve superior reliability levels.
Responsible for investigating and implementing new process technology at the plant.
The Process Engineer (Jr) is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing the plant.
This position will oversee the QC Lab area and all QC activities.
This position is responsible for influencing the development of preventative maintenance programs at the facility and will have a significant role in capital improvement plans while assisting in work area design, plant layout, visual control and metric implementation, material flow, process tracking, and communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of the finished product
Participate in plant metric reporting
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities as detailed in the facility site plan to resolve any production problems that may occur, maximize product consistency, and minimize cost
Prepare estimates of production costs and production progress reports for management
Design measurement and control systems for chemical plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments and in pilot plant operations
Use SAP to monitor production/business functions
Recommend modifications to current processes and equipment; document and follow up with process engineers responsible for the modifications
Work with the plant engineers and maintenance to influence the direction of preventative maintenance best practices
Support a high-performance results-oriented culture and maintain high standards of safety and compliance
Provide technical and operational leadership for equipment and facility maintenance and improvements
Deliver disciplined project management and product development assistance
Regular review of batch first pass yield, felt production quality, distressed, obsolete, scrap, and returned material
Troubleshoot batch and raw material issues
Assist in the identification of capital requirements for the facilities' annual capital plans and budgets
Help investigate equipment failures, difficulties, and deficiencies
Interface with leadership, operators, and maintenance to ensure continuous improvement and continuous production
Develop and streamline their critical metrics and assist when necessary
Assist in the development of site metrics and KPI's
Perform a job in accordance with all Tremco safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties, as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.
S.) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical engineering, but Chemical is preferred
1+ years of engineering experience, including experience with manufacturing operations.
Relevant internships qualify
Continuous web process and batch process equipment experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with all levels of the plant
Create standard work instructions/SOP's
Exemplify team leadership skills

Role Overview:
As a Shift Process Operator, you will be a key member of the process team, working an 8-week rotating shift pattern to provide 24-hour operational coverage.
You will be responsible for helping to maximise output across all process units in collaboration with the Shift Team Leader, while following production plans set by the Plant Managers and Shift Team Leader.
The Shift Process Operator will ensure plant operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company procedures and safe working practices at all times.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Shift Process Operator, you will support Shift Team Leaders in the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of plant activities, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and maintaining effective communication on plant performance and issues.
Monitor and control plant processes and equipment, taking appropriate corrective action where required to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and environmental compliance, promptly reporting incidents and supporting investigations to prevent recurrence.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance plant performance, applying structured problem-solving techniques, and supporting operational excellence.
Work collaboratively across shift teams and plant areas, providing cover, maintaining operational flexibility, and undertaking training to develop skills and support colleagues where required.
The successful Shift Process Operator will demonstrate a proactive approach to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing environment.
Experience Required:
Experience working in a manufacturing, production or process driven environment.
A willingness to learn, be flexible, contribute positively towards the working culture.
Current FLT licence is desirable but not essential.
IOSH qualified or a willingness to achieve.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Team Leader (Manufacturing) is proficient in all areas of production and efficiently & correctly performs all duties in addition to more complex maintenance and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works under minimal supervision
Adjusts machines to achieve production goals
Collaborates with machine operators in production process
Assists in carrying out production growth strategy
Troubleshoots complex processing problems with little or no assistance
Actively participates in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Determines priorities and creates procedures to meet objectives of the plant
Ensures maintenance is completed according to Preventative Maintenance Plan
Cross trains on all production areas in the facility (i.e.
safety, production, equipment)
Sets production schedule based on plant and customer needs utilizing factors such as lead time and manufacturing efficiency
Supports and validates the work of machine operators by answering questions, preparing production lines, and providing general direction
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: No formal education required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Four to seven years' related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Forklift Certification
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Windows and MS Office products (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Positive team player
Knowledge of area operations and related safe work practices/procedures and demonstrated ability to coordinate work activities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
