About the team
This team acts as the first point of contact for all safeguarding concerns and requests for support regarding children.
The team manage the incoming referrals from schools, health professionals and the public when concerns regarding the children's safety/ welfare arises.
The role of this team is to ensure that the referrals receive the most appropriate level of need required in a timely manner, they play a vital role in the progression of each allegation and case.
About you
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipDW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experiences is essential to be considered for this role.
Having experience and having a thorough understanding of the children safeguarding processes is vital.
A valid UK driving license and vehicle is required to qualify for this role.

Must Have

Experience of procurement frameworks and contracts.
Experience of managing e-procurement portals and procurements, and/or dynamic purchasing systems.
A consultative approach based on building positive relationships, but with ability to turn ideas into action and results.
A good understanding of creating value and managing costs, whilst working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
CIPS qualified, progression towards the qualification, or demonstrable commercial experience in lieu of.

Experience working in the social housing sector and leaseholder consultation processes.
Experience working for or with a procurement consortium.

Mental health residential care at its best is transformative.

This is a 21-bed residential service for adults with mental health conditions and it has just achieved a clean Good rating across all five CQC key questions.
