This role is suitable for a Senior Commercial property solicitor, someone looking to take on a role which either immediately or ultimately, can help with the within the leadership of a team.
It is based , within Leeds City Centre but as it offers exceptional flexibility you don't need to live within Leeds, or even that close by.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience within an established commercial property team, or someone who has established themselves within a smaller firm but still undertaken quality work, and is looking for a step into a larger team.
The team are ideally looking for someone who can sit between the partners and the more junior solicitors, a commercial property lawyer confident in their own file management, able to work as part of a team on significant and high value matters, and also able to assist with the support more junior lawyers.
The work that this friendly and flexible team undertakes is highly varied.
Whilst predominantly for private sector clients it also includes some public clients, both on a local and national basis.
Typical matters range from property management, acquisitions and disposals, corporate support, real estate finance matters and also some significant development work.
Whilst they have a strong foothold in the local market, you would also find yourself working as a part of a multi-site national team on some incredibly large matters - a blend that means you would genuinely get to know their clients and be able to meet many of them.
As mentioned, the firm have a highly flexible approach to work, they offer a genuine blend of office and home working without strict parameters (meaning that you don't need to live locally) as well as genuinely being open to different structures of hours and days.
