Responsible for oversight and execution of all elements of regional installer recruiting, development and management Direct management of Quality Assurance Manager and Installation Coordinator, including hiring, training and performance management. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established company specialising in bespoke architectural and ornamental metalwork crafting high-quality custom metal structures.
As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing custom metal components with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
This full-time permanent role offers a minimum salary of £13 per hour plus commission and benefits.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Fabricating bespoke staircases, balustrades, gates, railings, balconies, and other architectural metalwork.
* Performing MIG welding on steel and other metals.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and workshop sketches.
* Cutting, drilling, grinding, assembling, and finishing components to high standards.
* Operating workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
* Collaborating with other fabricators and supporting site installation teams when required.
* Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
Have experience in:
* Ornamental metalwork (Staircases, Balustrades, Railings, Gates, Architectural metalwork)
* Structural work (Steel frames, Structural steel fabrication, Load-bearing metal structures)
What We Are Looking For:
* Previously worked as a Welder, Fabricator, MIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, Steel Fabricator, Welding Technician, Structural Welder or in a similar role.
* Have at least 3 years of welding and fabrication experience
* Strong MIG welding skills.
* Confident in interpreting and working from technical drawings.
* Ability to fabricate bespoke components to a high standard.
